ThickAsThieves
Except he's absolute dogshit. You're thinking of Brad McKay - who is dogshit. I think stillresigned's talking about Dave Mackay, who is definitely not. But he's predominantly a right-back and also injured, I'm sure. So although he ticks the box for experience, he isn't what we need.

Agree with you re Dave MacKay though, good player, but not one who's going to solve the problems in the squad.

lady-isobel-barnett
Ah my mistake. Agree with you re Dave MacKay though, good player, but not one who's going to solve the problems in the squad. MacKay was instrumental in St J freeing Miller as he was regarded the better player at the time in the same two positions plus St J captain. A year or so on and being injury hit last season I'd imagine he'll have to go down the leagues to get fixed up. Cracking player tho' and one of McCall's famous five Jags signings all these years ago. Never did get any of them.

lady-isobel-barnett
Thistle-on-sea. Boyle, Cairney, Harkins, Adams, Balatoni all reunited with McCall and all likely starters, plus of course Oor Kevin. Quite a Firhill reunion. Reminiscent of Stranraer when Gerry B was in charge.. David Stevenson
Conrad scored the opener for Ayr in their unexpected win at Easter Road yesterday. More importantly, Kevin Nesbit provided the assist for the winner.

From the wee video clip I've seen it doesn't look like Nisbet was involved in the goal. No doubt BBC misinformation.

He wasn't. Although he did make a good run to open the space up for the guy who scored it.
