Barney Rubble
Dearie me, with every game it's becoming clearer that we should scrub the training facility and build a medical wing instead.
elevenone
Looks like Christie could be up to 6 months now as ligaments done as well. http://www.eveningtimes.co.uk/sport/15593069.More_bad_news_for_Partick_Thistle_boss_Alan_Archibald_as_Christie_Elliot_injury_worse_than_first_feared/
Jaggernaut
Reality: we'll do very well to avoid being bottom at Christmas. Any additional place up the table will be a huge bonus. Monra Jags!
NELL
That,s not good news. Any up-date on progress of other full backs that are out Dumbuya ? For that matter who is due back from long term problems ,we need something positive on the injured players front . We need 7 points from next 3 games. Fearchar
Is there a correlation between injuries and disciplinary record in our division? If so, it might be possible to find the source of problems in the training, as our disciplinary record seems to be poor.

elevenone
I think it was mentioned on another thread but certainly in the case of Christie walking round entire pitch and up the tunnel after doing injury could not have been beneficial and if my memory serves me well it was something similar with Callum at St Johnstone at well. Next signing a stretcher perhaps?
lady-isobel-barnett
How many players do we have out, with train injuries? Don't think this is the correct platform to discuss such matters tho' I most certain.do mind the gap some of our rivals currently have on us. jags on tour
We're still on track for a top 6 finish providing we don't run out of steam. We have a first class manager, no matter what the tube(s) on here say. If we don't turn it around soon we will be heading underground. If we lose Archie will get the bullet. jags on tour
I hear there's a few English and Russian teams looking at Archie, the papers tomorrow will read ' Lokomotiv and Orient express an interest in Archibald'.

Norgethistle
How many players do we have out, with train injuries? How late in the games were our players (Christie, Booth etc) injured, if these players are tired going into challenges there is more chance of getting a bad knock, and the team does seem to tire very easy from 70 minutes on
Guest
We tired from about 15 minutes in today for goodnessake
Auld Jag
Don't know about being tired, they looked as if they were sleep walking today.
elevenone
Gary Fraser starting for under 20’s tonight. Could be worth a punt on sat assuming he gets through unscathed. Only 3 subs named tonight also.
Yellow & Redneck
Not the most technical player in the world, but it would be nice to see Fraser back. At least he is someone who isn't scared at having a pop from 30 yards out.
B C
A fit Gary Fraser would walk into our midfield at the moment with the form of Edwards and Barton. Fingers crossed he can come through unscathed, Saturday would be too soon but maybe a bench spot next week at Hamilton or home to St Johnstone if the surface is an issue. Time schedule will be about right. Fraser would know he was only getting an hour tonight and upped his tempo during his 15 mins in the 2nd half. Might have got a bit longer if it wasn't a plastic surface. So it's fair to assume he came thru tonight OK.
