Not moved for the TV. QP are third in line to Stenny and Syngenta FC.

Ta, jagfox.  So obvious when you think about it. :)

eta Makes complete sense that Syngenta, a company involved in grass technology, would have a team playing on an artificial surface.

Big McGinty's just headed Ayr level.   They actually look quite good now, having been rank 1st half.  Watching on a buckshee link.  I really should have better things to do...

A much improved pitch to play on, what seems like a better squad from which to choose a side, plus, what will  be, a newly-enthused crowd of fans to cheer them on in the first home league encounter of the season, should all help Thistle today v the Accies. Good luck Jags!

There are a lot of competitive 'hard to call' looking fixtures today with most looking like they could go either way.

This would be a good day to take 3 points as all of our (perceived to be) main rivals could drop points.

I suppose given the size of the league there will be one or two such fixtures every week. A good performance and convincing win  for the Jags would be a good statement of intent.

Any news on our injured Central Defenders?

Best of luck to the Jags and to all who are fortunate enough to be able to attend today's game.

Anyone else feeling those first home game anxieties? Have the holes in the pitch been repaired? Will my seat have a reserved sticker on it? Will my season ticket work? Always glad when this first one is by!

Just handed over more of my cash to that club-stealing, will-ignoring bunch of power mad nufties in the boardroom in the forlorn hope that the team on the pitch will transcend such earthly travails. (Is there a Buddhist team somewhere out there for me? Contentious question on an avowedly agnostic football club’s forum I know.)

Intae them…

Been mentioned so many times that starting the match thread early has a negative impact on the team performance. But still people do it.

I have therefore initiated a new strategy where I will not read the thread until after mid day on a match day, which I hope will negate the early opening voodoo.

Let’s hope it works. ‘Mon the Jags

Just watched QP vs. Ayr highlights. Some nice play by both teams. The big Ayr no. 9 looks like a handful, a bit like yon big guy that Arbroath had up front for a good part of last season.

Anyone know how to access the live stream?  I can’t find a link anywhere.

You have to go to the shop and buy it, after you’ve got your subscription :frantic:
