proudjag
Would just like to thank the big fella for his efforts in his short time at Firhill. He wasn't everyone's cup of tea but done a job nonetheless and came in to fill what turned out to be boots that were just too big for him to fill. I'm sure he will get fixed up somewhere, not sure what level though.
Albert's Ghost
Yeah - apart from the Hamilton blunder he did OK. Good luck and thanks Graeme.
lady-isobel-barnett
Thought he did a fine job for us considering he was thrown in at the deep end so to speak. Ideally we'd have the cash to have kept him and sent Scully out on loan but even that would've been dependent on a Div 2 or 3 club having their own goalie crisis, Trust Graeme's own family crisis has improved,
twinny
He's done a job when we needed him. Best of luck to him and I'm glad the club are giving him training facilities, which should really help him find a club as he can guarantee match fitness. proudjag
Yeah nice gesture by the club. Keeps him ticking over and it is a shame we couldn't offer him something because despite what many ppl think, he would have been a good no2 to have on the bench to keep Fox on his toes. Lindau
Yip, had a horrific start but did pretty well after that...hope he can get fixed up asap http://ptfc.co.uk/news/2012-2013/january_2013/graeme_smith_-_thanks
Dick Dastardly
Don't want to criticise Buzz as he did help us out of a very deep hole, but the injury to Fox could turn out to be costly. 8 league goals conceded in the 6 games he was out (versus 8 in the 11 previous where where Fox started) could be crucial. On the positive, the 2 postponed games couldn't have come at a better time as (hopefully) Fox will be available for them.
Stephen1876
All the best Graeme, I hope everything works out for you going forward! He certainly has plenty of character - having not played for months and then having a horror debut could have utterly destroyed anybody's confidence. Instead, he came back and was a relatively solid keeper for us - I wonder how important that save at Airdrie last week just after they had scored could mean to us at the end of the season! GrantB
Given the fact that his personal life can't be easy, I think the guy did an excellent job in his time with us. Really hope he gets himself fixed up and does well (except against us of course)
Jaggernaut
I thought he did a decent job for us. The recent relative slump certainly isn't just due to him being in goals, and he did make some crucial saves as well as one crucial blunder. That's pretty standard for goalkeepers. northernsoul
He made some terrific saves vs Raith, Airdrie and Livi away which were all crucial in ensuring that we won/didn't get beat. I hope everything bodes well for him in the future.
Duke Gekantawa
I was at Hamilton and really thought we had made a mistake in signing him. I am pleased to say that I was wrong. My confidence in him grew each game, and I would suggest that the increased number of goals conceded while he was in goals was more to do with various enforced changes to the side (particuarly Muirhead to right back). He did make errors, but also made a number of excellent saves, while also largely dealing with crosses and set-pieces effectively (and don't forget that Fox is also prone to the odd lapse). Yes, Fox is still the better keeper (possibly the best in the division), but Smith proved himself to be perfectly good cover. I for one wish him all the best. kni
I was wondering why Smith was preferred to Fox on Saturday. Smith was leaving and if Fox was fit, he should have played.
The Earl of Hathaway
I was wondering why Smith was preferred to Fox on Saturday. Smith was leaving and if Fox was fit, he should have played. I wondered about that myself. He did fine on Saturday, but I was reminded of the guy working in the Blackpool Rock factory who when he was told he was getting the boot left them with a mile and a half of rock with 'F*ck you' written through it.... kni
It seems strange that with Scully being sent out on loan, we signed an inexperienced "development squad" keeper from Sellick rather than Smith. Is money really that tight?

Is money really that tight? Looking like it, unless we sell anyone. So we go with the present squad! Looks as if we spent our last on Craig!!
