Bishopbriggs jag
Fantastic result and great performance. Interesting to see we have the 2nd best away form in the league, and its good to see Doolan grab two goals. Goals have came slow for him so far but I don't imagine it's easy to adapt to Premiership defences that quickly
topcat
McCann saying that corner kick was legal at dissallowed goal. But surely the radius at the corner is the place were the ball is returned to play. so the ball has to be kicked out of the radius first before it is back in play. That first touch just moved the ball within the radius. So the second player was actaually taking the first touch and then the second. anyway great away result and Dools back on form..ya dancer
Bishopbriggs jag
Didn't see it but did the ICT player actually move the ball or just touch it with his foot before the AR told Craigen to move away and before Doran then dribbles away with the ball? If the AR is telling Craigen to move, he clearly doesn't believe the ICT player has moved the ball and taken the corner, even if that's the intention of the ICT player? Ball wasn't moved forward so didnt count

P-R
The linesman should have been flagging as the ball was touched the 2nd time, not when it's in the back of the net. He even gestures at Craigen to retreat from the ball when he comes across. Who knows what was going through his mind. Anyway we were due a bit of good fortune, great result. If the AR is telling Craigen to move, he clearly doesn't believe the ICT player has moved the ball and taken the corner, even if that's the intention of the ICT player? The ball was kicked and moved, therefore it was in play. It doesn't need to leave the arc. The ICT player also told the AR the corner had been taken. Craigen should then have been allowed to come towards the ball and defend it. The AR was wrong on two counts, 1, telling Craigen to move back, and 2, not flagging straight away when he thought the corner had been incorrectly taken. In the second half when the ICT goal was disallowed, Fox had actually committed a foul, so the goal should have stood, or if the ref wasn't going to play advantage, it should have been a penalty. I'd be very interested to see the assessor's report. Somtimes it's difficult being a ref as well as a Jags supporter

stillresigned
We definitely got a wee bit of luck, but after seeing us having no luck for so long Ha, ha Butcher! I honestly thought we'd a good chance of getting something today. Bring on the Tims!!!

thebiglemon
Finally a break Well done for surviving all those high balls/corners/goalmouth stramashes Other than route 1 Inverness rarely threatened with actual football However the officials done them
Metz
Great result for the Jags. Not the best performance of the season and maybe a bit of karma that it was from a keeper error that gave us the winner given the heroics of most keepers at Firhill. There was no goal at the corner the AR got it completely wrong and both teams can feel aggrieved so how can that be a goal? There was no goal at the corner as it was clearly there tactic to rough Fox up that just can't be allowed with the current rules. Other than corners and a bad free kick they really didn't trouble us and we counter attacked well and with more composure could have punished them more.
JeanieD
Overall we are still probably in deficit in terms of the number of points we have gained as opposed to the number deserved, but today we probably clawed back a couple. Today's result compensated us in part for the bad refereeing decisions, notably against the Arabs, that have cost us valuable points. simoncordiner
I remember there was controversy around a free kick goal Hearts scored a few years back. At the time, the goal was deemed illegal because the ball had to do one full revolution. It that still a rule? And if so does it apply to corners, or just free kicks? Jagsman
got very lucky today but luck is what is needed at times doolan looked sharp as ever but this time been clinical excellent 1st goal fox lucky not to concede pen linesman will probz get fine or maybe his books as he had a howler also nice to see that ict have adopted the kenny arthur approach in defending crosses

Fair to say ICT can feel very hard done by at the corner, sounds like the AR was wrong on a number of counts. Wasn't the disallowed goal in the second half due more to the fact that ICT had been putting a lot of physical pressure on Fox throughout the game? He'd been getting the decisions too, so maybe that wasn't so lucky but more to do with the ref not letting them away with any pressure on the keeper, so he got the decision? Anyway, first real slice luck we've had this season, and very timely it is too given yesterdays results!

stillresigned
First time we've had a rub of the green all season, and it'll maybe shut Chick Dung up a wee bit. Naw, nothing I know of could do that. As I've said all season if we keep on playing the way we do then if based on nothing, but the law of averages we'll win more than we lose. I personally think the reason we do well away from home is that other teams expect us to sit in and defend for 90 minutes like they do away from home. And of course we've not got so many numpties who moan and shout for the ball to be lumped forward.
Lenziejag
Just seen the short highlights on Sky Sports news. 2 great finishes by Doolan. The first one after a great set up by Craigen and the 2nd, really good reaction when Brill dropped it. And Archie knows we pinched it today. Yep, going into last game of first quarter against Celtic next week and we have lost three . More of the same through the remaining season and we will be fine.
