Before the hibs game I said us have Benny's delighted with 7+ points from our games before the split . With that in mind I'd be happy with a point here. Would love 3 though

I'd have said that too, but now I'm definitely hoping for a bit more.

A win on Saturday would be massive.

Other fixtures:

Aberdeen v Kilmarnock

Celtic v St Mirren

Motherwell v Ross Co

St Johnstone v Hibs

Don't really see Killie, St M or Ross C getting anything & Hibs will be lucky to get a draw.

I'll say again... 3 points would be MASSIVE (and we're more than capable of getting them)

Once again we cant afford to go into this game overconfident. ICT are a good side and they will get back on track. Just hope it's not this weekend. If Hughes stops trying to get them to play football and resorts to their aerial strengths, we could struggle.

The run in game to the split that I'd worry about the most is the Hearts game. That's not the 3pt banker that many will predict. They're most likely to have been relegated by then and we've seen it time and time again teams are hard to beat when the pressure finally is off.

What! You mean hearts wont be taking the chance to give their youngsters a run out? :innocent:

Saturday is mine. Given the other fixtures on Saturday, it's a great chance for us to put a bit of distance between us and one or two of the others.

Inverness CT and St. Johnstone are massive. Anything from Celtic's a bonus and I personally think the Hearts game will be a 3pt banker. Obviously providing we turn up. Make no mistake - Hearts are shite.

This Saturday will be a good test of whether we are going to kick on as most of us hope and believe we can or we're to be stuck in a dod eat dog scrap at the bottom of the table. Its really up to the management and players to show that they deserve the marvelous backing they've had (mostly) home and away.

We;ve got to strike that balance between confidence and treating our opponents with respect. I've said before and I'll say it again of all the teams likely to be in the bottom six I think we are far and away the better football team, its only when we have been dragged into humphing the ball up the park that we struggle.

Personally, I;d start with the same team we played agaist Hibernian, with the exception of Brannigan coming in for Buaben.

Who's Brannigan?

Kenny Brannigan, obviously.

Anyway, there's a dangerous amount of optimism pervading this thread, which makes me extremely nervous.

Don't worry - a mention of Kenny Brannigan is a sure fire way to instantly quash any optimism whatever the situation.

I can honestly see Hearts catching us now, and Archie must go.

Gallacher©

SOD Mair Balatoni ATS

Fraser Buaben Bannigan

Erskine Taylor Higginbotham

Need to get on top of I.C.T. early then we have the option of Doolan to come off the bench in the second half.

Agree that we need three specialist midfielders away from home. However Kris scored twice at Inverness in October but it would hard on Taylor to bench him. Tough choice for the manager.
