Mediocre Pundit
What's happened with McMillan - is he injured again? Do we know when he'll be back (given we're a bit lacking at left back...) ETA: Admin feel free to edit my car crash of a thread title - spelling, capitalisation, or anything else you care to add... Graemei
Been trying to find this out as well, all i've heard was he was injured a while back. I thought he was pretty decent at left back, could certainly do with him being back.
Jag
Jordan McMillan is out of the team at the moment due to personal reasons. Unsure what these are though. I met someone close to him last week and that's what he told me but I didn't ask him to elaborate. A big miss for us at the moment. One of our best players and, in my opinion, a candidate for captain.
chuck pink
I've always taken "personal reasons " as being code for "the club will not divulge anything further". Definitely the best left back we have at the moment.
La Scimmia Rossa
Rumours abound. Let's just say we should wait on the club issuing an update and not speculate further?
Mediocre Pundit
Fair enough, had no idea there were rumours going around - just wondered how he'd injured himself this time!
Westend Jag
think i need to move my seat, never hear any rumours around me! Hopefully it is nothing bad, really rate the boy, he's our best right back, never mind left.
sick in the basin
Odd that both his and Carrolls absences roughly coincide with little or nothing said about either - I'm sure nothing untoward there but does make you wonder ! Third Lanark
Had no idea about this and heard no rumours. jlsarmy
Rumours abound. Let's just say we should wait on the club issuing an update and not speculate further? Surprised the club went down the road of "personal reasons " as a reason for the absence of Jordan McMillan , why not just say he's got a niggling injury till everything is resolved . Was working in the West End today and the rumours regarding Jordan seem to be growing , the club should issue a statement regarding the player instead of supporters making their own stories up. Was working in the West End today and the rumours regarding Jordan seem to be growing , the club should issue a statement regarding the player instead of supporters making their own stories up. Why should the club make a statement? If it is for personal reasons then McMillan might want it to be kept private. Just accept what the club is saying! As for rumours? Isn't that we supporters do? Stewarty
Everyone is entitled to some privacy. As far as I'm concerned the club need not release a statement even after the situation resolves itself, as it may not be any of our business.

ian_mac
Big test this for Archie by the sounds of things. Seems to have been a real lack of respect for his authority by certain players over the christmas period which is very worrying. The Motherwell game in particular it looked like something wasn't right and possibly an external factor playing on players minds. It's particularly surprising when a senior player like McMillan is involved - he's probably been one of our most consistent players when he's been fit and his commitment on the park has never been in question. The club need to get this dealt with properly and promptly. It's the kind of thing that could tip the balance and drag us in to the relegation battle if it starts to affect the team on the park. Lambies Lost Doo
Got to be serious if suspended. No person is bigger than the club no matter who they are.

Didn't look like there was any lack of effort or support for Archie from the 12 players that played a part at the weekend. The performance against Motherwell, in the 2nd half anyway, was full of effort but just lacked the creativity to score a goal rather than the players looking disinterested etc.

Wonder if he will now pitch Christie in at left back as he played really well there in the 2nd half against Motherwell. Think Keenan is a good prospect but this has maybe came a year too early. Don't know anything about McMillangate, but that is a real blow as any time he has played this season he has been outstanding. I fear it's the end for him at Firhill Edited January 7, 2015 by Lindau
