scotty
Yesterday was a public holiday but today is not. Simple as that But why not have it on the public holiday? The whole seasonal fixture list seems to be completely illogical and unsuited to the leisure time of fans. I know the SPFL have tried to fit in extra fixtures in order to accommodate a winter break but surely in seasons past there was a winter break and games played on Boxing Day and the First/Second January?

No doubting the SPFL's incompetence but I'm not sure that if both clubs wished they couldn't have had the game switched.
G Jag
Just as well I checked here. I was going to take my two boys down for a 3pm kick off today. Won't be able to take them tonight. What a lot of shite.
Blackpool Jags
Main thing is we pump them. Been mentioned above that they're a bit of a banana skin, and could play well against us. I think that as long as we press them high, the way we did up at Drossco in the second half, we'll be just fine.
stillresigned
After our earlier form this season, it's hard to believe that we are now in a position to really establish ourselves as a top flight club agin. Tonight's game is important in so many ways and it is vital that the team don't 'Hibs' it. Judging by the strength of character that the lads have shown in recent games I rather doubt that we shall. If we press them high up the park as others have suggested then we can get the win.
jaggy
Yesterday was a public holiday but today is not. Simple as that That was Vaila Streets point, why not play on the afternoon of a public holiday?
Lenziejag
That was Vaila Streets point, why not play on the afternoon of a public holiday? I guess that one of the issues is that there would have been next to no public transport ?
simoncordiner
Does anyone know if my Jagzone account allows me to watch the game? I'm abroad in Tenerife for a few days.

Lambies Lost Doo
I guess that one of the issues is that there would have been next to no public transport ? And there would have been loads of complaints about hosting a game with limited public transport on boxing day.
sandy
Sitting in a decent pub in Mid-Argyll tonight, watching from afar, hoping that Erskine will wreak havoc in midfield and quell those Dees. Come on the Jags, that 6th place is within grasp assuming Celtic do Ross County...
Vaila Street
I guess that one of the issues is that there would have been next to no public transport ? Normal rail/bus service on the 27th. Plus Dunfermline played Falkirk on the 26th itself and got > 6k.
scotty
If you were to ask any of the fans traveling to the four matches in the premiership tonight if they would rather it was played yesterday at 3, what do you think the answer would be? Big Col
Boxing Day fixtures were traditionally the norm up here were they not? And plenty folk got to the games. England manages to have Boxing Day fixtures without effect on attendances. That said, they're not tying to cram in as many games as they can in a week unlike our beloved FA. Do I need to do anything else to watch the game from Tenerife? Other than order a big bottle of vino? Dick Dastardly
Barton in for Lawless, decent shout I think It depends on whether Barton plays in midfield, or joins Lindsay and Devine in a back 3 with Booth and Linford pushing up.
