Auld Jag
Imo whether this game is on or off, neither Hearts or our governing body look any good after this episode.
CCjag
Nothing on Hearts official site and I'd have expected them to be the first to reveal the decision!

Blackpool Jags
Breathtakingly irresponsible and incompetent. Full house the morra if it's on?
P-R
" The club is delighted to announce that we have our temporary occupation certificate for the new stand. Subject to a final safety check at 8am, the game will kick off at 3pm tomorrow afternoon. We thank you all for your patience. Blackpool Jags
This isn't a pitch inspection. Any safety doubts about the fixture should've been resolved a minimum of 24 hours in advance of kick off, otherwise it should've been called off.
Auld Jag
Scottish football needs fans.Is it any wonder they don't turn up with this sort of nonsense going on.
sandy
So it’s probably on, but a further Sunday 8am safety inspection is still needed? Bloody shambles Hearts
JeanieD
Have to laugh at the latest from the owner bleating on about decoration and appearance rather than issuing a fulsome apology to all supporters about this - the usual hard hat and hi-vis fiasco too - hair dye must have made the hat go squinty
gianlucatoni
Hopefully the lads will look forward to spoiling their party - cracking pitch for November. 3-0 Jags
Knightswood Jag
I know it’s most likely going ahead now and doesn’t matter but could it not have been played at Easter Road if it had failed the safety inspection?

Why Easter Rd? Parkhead was by far the most obvious venue.

I'd rather we play on a pitch that hadn't been played on the day before. More to the point, given how we've been treated, ease of travel for the home fans should be of no importance. Jaggernaut
Looks like the question now is whether Thistle will dutifully lie down and make it a "success" all round for the tarts..., or will we GIRUT and spoil their party!

Jaggernaut
Looks a cracking stadium. No question about that. Makes the bing all the sadder looking. Stadia with filled-in corners always look better, imo. Edited November 19, 2017 by Jaggernaut

CotterJag
No question about that. Makes the bing all the sadder looking. Stadia with filled-in corners always look better, imo. My first act after winning the Euromillions is to replace the bing with a safe standing area.'Our' family area to watch a match was behind the goal, halfway up the terrace and slightly off centre towards the shed. Love to bring that back to life. My first memory as a young kid was watching a Celtic game there surrounded by their fans. Think it ended 3-2 or 3-1 to them but I remember cheering when I think Jim Melrose scored (most likely have that wrong), and being scowled at by grown men. I must have been 7 or 8 years old as well. Watched the Forfar 0-0 game there, great day and night and my worst ever Thistle match...... 0-1 to The Blue Brazil.
