Additional points will be awarded if your selected team knocks out a team from a higher group. One point per seeding level plus one extra point if it is an away victory (if the tie goes  to a replay, the original seeding points still apply)

Where applicable, the seeding points available are noted beside the fixtures above.

Totally random selections.

Apologies for late update, been at a rather dull all-dayer.

5 ties completed today, one abandoned due to a bad injury. Thoughts, of course, with Zander Miller, the player injured. No news yet of new replay date.

All the seeding points information is now to hand. If you're happy to proceed with one undecided fixture, you can now get your predictions in.

Cowdenbeath  v  Civil Service Strollers  -  A2
Preston Athletic  v  Auchinleck Talbot
Clydebank  v  Elgin City  -  H2
Brechin City  v  Haddington Athletic  -  A2

My brain was not really engaged and I did my "draft list" with A for home teams and B for away teams, so totally confused myself. Hopefully I have unscrambled it OK!

This is surely a good case for the match being played from the point it was stopped. Bo'ness 4 - 2 up with 25 mins left.

The match will start again and Bo'ness will be without the boy who was hospitalised. The Wick player who committed the assault and escaped with a yellow will be free to play 90 mins.

Zander Miller has a broken ankle.  I fully agree with you, 4-2 up when the game gets abandoned.  The referee also sent off two Bo'ness players in the draw in Wick, with Bo'ness hotly contesting the decisions.

I suspect neither Wick nor the ref will be getting a warm welcome  at Newtown Park.

I'm sure you're all desperate to know how the random number generator fared against the real selections.

There were 12 real sets of selections and 11 random. The average points scored for each player were Real = 38.75; Random = 36.55.

Comparing the real selections of the 12 who submitted them with the random selections I sent those players, the difference is even greater. Had those players used their random selections their average points would have been 34.75.

That went  well...
