It would need to be much earlier to get to Zagreb 😊

Jimmy McD
Good news.. Falkirk will bring a far bigger support on the Saturday rather than a dark cold Tuesday night ..

Fans can go straight to the Aitken suite to watch the Scotland game as soon as the Partick Thistle game finishes

That’s a wee bit of a squeeze into the Aitken Suite. 2pm kick off would be sensible.
Barney Rubble
5 hours ago, elevenone said: Let’s just hope half the squad don’t get Scotland call ups now 😋 The Thistle and Scotland fans that have already been called up for Zagreb may justifiably have a different opinion. Especially season ticket holders. They cannot be in two places at once. Edited to ask: How can a season ticket holder's seat which is not being used for a rearranged fixture (due to circumstances imposed by TV or the league, as in this instance) be transferred to an unemployed/under 16/charity for use rather than have the seat go empty? The additional revenue from this switch of date will go someway to offset whatever we're missing out on after last Saturday. My guess is the turnout may have been even higher if there was an earlier KO.

Nice sentiment but I would guess the organisation of this would be a nightmare.

There's a balance between the extra attendance due to an earlier KO and the additional bar income from punters going to watch the game live in the Aitken suite. That's true and perhaps arrangements (extra staffing etc) have already been made. However the nett profit from a packed Aitken Suite will still only be the equivalent of say 50 or so pay at the gate fans. Admittedly it's all guesswork but I reckon an earlier KO would increase attendance by well into the 100s.
Auld Jag
We have 4 league games in October and with this game now rescheduled, 3 are on consecutive weeks at home, we really need 9 points out of 9, which will not be easy.
