Dundee have signed Greg Stewart and Philip Roberts for next season. Both very underwhelming signings for this level.

Roberts if he was to screw the nut would be an excellent signing. Huge "if" tho'.

Saw Dundee a few weeks back. They didn't impress tho' they got the job done and played quite nervy, which was understandable. They've relied heavily on guys like Nade, Peter MacDonald, Gavin Rae, Irvine & Beattie. They'll need to replace them tho' some of their younger players look promising.

Disappointing from our point of view to see Hibs win and be likely to survive. There's no way they will be as bad as they have been this season again next year, and Accies didn't look up to much (although they probably were the better team). I'd rather have had 2 newly promoted sides up.... ah well.

Agreed. Sure, Hibs might bring a few hundred more supporters to Firhill, and a visit to Easter Rd. is more appealing that whatever Accies' stadium is called, but from the perspective of our ability to do well next season it would have been better to see Hibs joins the tarts in the division below. It could still happen, but seems unlikely now.

One thing we had which they won't if they do a lot of rebuilding is a squad core that had played together for almost 2 years and had a great deal of confidence born out of overcoming adversities such as losing a manager and facing a crunch game right after a big disappointment in a cup final. It could depend on the luck of the draw of course but if they start off against tough opponents they could really struggle. New teams really need to hit the ground running in this league.

They've also got a manager, who altho' fits in well at that poisonous club, will be found out sooner rather than later.
