T shirts not in till next week. Can't help think the club have missed a trick here. The shirts should have been ready for the launch

The club weren't exactly to know how Kingsley would go viral. If they'd ordered in loads of merch and the whole thing hadn't blown up as it did then they'd be getting pelters for wasting money on such a ridiculous idea.

Don't know anything about the T shirt business but does it really take over three weeks to get them on sale? Serious question!

its not a serious question. its over exaggerated for dramatic effect.

3 weeks to get them on sale?

And how is that? The shop at Port Dundas said they MIGHT be on sale next week. When was Kingsley unveiled and became one of the biggest trenders on Twitter?

Hmmmm. Too much red.

But ok spose. 8-)

Saw it at George Square and the first impression was the redness - agree it is ok - probably just north of ok but could have done with a wee bit more yellow and black - will clash with 5 out of our 11 opponents in the league though.

Not according to Port Dundas. You could certainly order them last week, but first time you will be able to get your mits on one is next week......at the earliest!!

Must be Yoda. My son paid for mine up at PD today while he was getting his strip and was told to expect a call to pick it up (t shirt) next week sometime. Be happy if it's delivered this week!

Used to regularly have T shirts printed albeit many moons ago. An initial run of at least 2500 was the norm to get them at a decent unit price. Anything smaller in volume but still at a reasonable price required a longer lead time. As is this case there's three or four parties all trying to make a profit before sold to the public. Most likely could've got T shirts out to public quicker but either the end price and/or any Jags profit would undoubtedly be adversely affected.

Never really comment on strip design but everyone I talked to at George Sq appeared positive about the new strip.

 ..... I know we got red and yellow from borrowing hooped jerseys... but we got them off a rugby team and we play real football. GEEZ STRIPES!!!...Big bold ffffaaaaattttt ones!!!!! And yeah, as the song goes, "red and yellow are the colours we love..." but ... "red, black and yellow are the colours we love..." scans just as well, if not better, just like black shorts look better... And... smeltic play in hoops ffs!!!!

The sponsor yet again looks like a last minute sticker.

But hey, it's the Thistle strip and therefore a f*ckin dulyin.

:fan:

Fair play.... well done on the launch. Seems to have gone well?

It is a bit red, but we would quite often have clashes with 4 or 5 teams anyway so no real change
