little_miss_jag
Damn, the snow is getting pretty heavy again in Cowdenbeath... Watching this is more entertaining than watching Scotland playing last night! I am actually rather enjoying it!

Seven with shovels, one with wheelbarrow. Looking at their rate of progress, they'll be lucky to clear whole pitch by 230.

Nah, I left it for over 10 minutes. It worked at home this morning fairly quickly. Oh well.
Gary Peebles Tackle
Fair play to them for the effort, but I still don't see it being on - especially with the snow forecast for later. Fairest thing would probably be to call it off now to save the effort. If we can get Saturday's on I'll be happy.
stillresigned
One wonders just what sort of referee gave this game any kind of go-ahead there's clearly lots of densely packed snow and given today's weather forecast I can't see for the life of me how this game will go ahead. Bet it was a SCOTTISH referee! You know, the incompetent ones...
little_miss_jag
I think if the snow is cleared it will probably be good to go. I really want this game to be on!

canman
Where is the tartan army when you need them? 10 people out now. I think they will do as long as more snow doesn't come. Edited March 27, 2013 by canman
The Cup
Watching the stream is more entertaining than working. They are doing well but I doubt they will be totally finished for the inspection at 2:30.

The Cup
falling about pished in a 24 hour strip bar in Belgrade probably....... Better behaved than usual then. Although with them going all the way to Serbia to support that shite who could grudge them some titties.
RabTheJag
Watching the stream is more entertaining than working. They are doing well but I doubt they will be totally finished for the inspection at 2:30. Do they need to have the entire pitch clear by the time the referee arrives in order for the pitch inspection to be passed? Surely if say 2 thirds of the pitch is clear and the grass underfoot isnt solid then it should pass the inspection, because they'll have the entire pitch cleared by about 5pm I would've thought. Yellow & Redneck
All credit to Cowdenbeath, its fans/volunteers and staff for their hard work in trying to get the game on. They've been out on the pitch since 8am.

I would hope the ref would use some common sense. If the ground isn't frozen then the game will hopefully go ahead. Hopefully, as long as we win... Davie Thistle
......M8's just back from Fife say's the weather across central belt & Fife is the same as Glasgow the now, so good chance games on.
ThickAsThieves
Official site has the preview up. Murray definitely missing out, Archie jarred his knee on Monday so his space on the bench is up for grabs and Craig is a doubt. Massive chance for Doolan here to stake his claim. In that case: Fox O'Donnell Muirhead Balatoni Sinclair Welsh Paton Craigen Erskine Lawless Doolan Same line up as against Livingston except Doolan coming in for Craig. I'd also be tempted to put Forbes in for Craigen, set pieces could be very important given the smaller pitch and possible poor conditions. little_miss_jag
Ooft! look at that snow - I fear a battle those poor peeps cannot win. Snow has been on and off al day but doesn't seem to by lying. They really have done a fab job clearing all that snow! Hopefully that work is rewarded at half 2 when the pitch passes an inspection.
