stillresigned
Can't complain about this fixture list, for once.Be good to get a result against United, particular;ly as our recent(20/30 years) record against them is hardly worth getting excited about. jags on tour
what a start to the season, the atmosphere at the first game will be amazing. ross county away should be good aswell, jakes on a train once again!
kni
Another bonus is that we play ICT and County way in August, October and March when the weather should be a bit better. The "computer" must be a Jags supporter! I would expect the Arabs to bring a good support to the opener too. Hopefully, seeing the flag raised will put Erskine and Paton off their games. The atmosphere will be electric!
Blackpool Jags
I'm not back from hols in Asia until Monday 5th August!
Guy Incognito
You just could not have scripted Dundee Utd at home, first game of the season!
The Jukebox Rebel
A phenomenal start for the new Irn-Bru Premiership. 33 skoosh ins...
The Earl of Hathaway
Good openeing fixtures and a wee trip to Feegie on the last day of August.....nice. The only problem with booking up trains &c for the away fixtures at Inversneck and Coonty is the chance that they might get moved by TV. Total pain in the jacksie.... nohidingplace
Can't believe how lucky we've been with the fixtures. Hope we make the best of it .In Archie we trust.

Total pain in the jacksie.... Is that likely, tho? I know little about telly matches but I'd have thought our games up there wouldn't be attractive to TV companies. Keiththejag
Brilliant.I'm sure we'll all welcome Jackie back with open arms.Bless him,I think I'll sing him a song.
Barney Rubble
Looking at the opening day fixtures, I think that our game against Utd. could be switched to Sunday, or early Saturday for TV. Won't be early Saturday as Sky always open the season with the SPL Champions.
lady-isobel-barnett
Hibs v Motherwell is scheduled for the Sunday if that's any help.
John Blutarsky
You just could not have scripted Dundee Utd at home, first game of the season! Isn't that exactly what has happened? With the sequence of fixtures, Hearts and all that and if we can continue our home form there's an even chance we could be comfortable by the turn of the year. p12tfc
I'd say its very likely our game will be moved. Sky or bt will show the Celtic game and , in the absence of the other arsecheek , the other station will probably want to show ours..... jaggy
I'm sure we played them in the opener at Firhill the last time we got promoted to the SPL. Utd wore green & I think it was 2-

Rangers might not be in the SPL but a lot of their games were shown live last season. On the other hand sky might have wanted to show 3 flag days from Glasgow ? The Mighty Quinn
i can't wait, u couldn't make this up. Away changing room heaters should be put on full blast, make it very uncomfortable. that's wot we used to do down at linlithgow rose when we got someone who we hated or a team could challenge us in august. tell them there's a prob wae the heaters n they're not to touch it. anything we can do to make it hell for that incestuous son of a loose moralled mother should be dun. plus fill the showers with zyclon b. (kiddin, make the showers cold). i want to gub this boy. i can't wait!

Armand2
I reckon there's a very good chance that this game will be moved to an early kick-off for television coverage. Either way, f*cking get in. All our boys will be right up for it. Couldn't have asked for a better start.
