ian_mac
It's you who is the persistent troll. Stop the pathetic whinging. If you can't take it, don't dish it out. To be fair, you were a good 48 hours late with your O'Connor scoop. Good effort though
Third Lanark
Well my source is very close to Gary put it that way. good to hear mate. I hope he is fully aware of how highly rated he is at Firhill by fans and Archie and Scott and we would be delighted to have him back. What do you think the chances of him returning are proudjag? proudjag
Well he doesn't really fancy it down at Bolton. He's an east end boy born n bred n he's currently up here doing nothing waiting. Thistle n Bolton trying to thrash out a deal.

Thistle n Bolton trying to thrash out a deal. I know you might not know answer to this but considering he trained with us right through pre season before signing for Bolton then was immediately loaned back, how much time has he actually been down there to know he doesn't want to stay?
proudjag
He's only young it was the lure of the big move, I'm sure money was obviously a motivation for him but he just won't move or settle down there yet.

Jaggernaut
I am keeping my expectations low in case he's another Paul Slane, Stevie Lennon, Kal Naismith, Darren Cole... and others I can't remember. In fact have we ever had a good'un? Santala. OK, not "good." But in his own way, phenomenal for us.

marco77
Kevin Thomson has been told he is free to leave Hibs. Would suit our style of play, good passer of the ball and likes to put his foot in. Wages might be a struggle though.

GrantB
Am I the only one getting a little anxious as to who will be replacing Banzo in our midfield on Saturday against a side that are spending money like confetti?
Alan Murray
Am I the only one getting a little anxious as to who will be replacing Banzo in our midfield on Saturday against a side that are spending money like confetti? Can't be certain but I would think it will be Fraser. Don't see the point of Bolton taking him back against his will when he could be picking up Premiership experience. David Stevenson
Am I the only one getting a little anxious as to who will be replacing Banzo in our midfield on Saturday against a side that are spending money like confetti? They brought a stack of guys in at the start of the season and it clearly hasn't worked. They're repeating the experience in the January window but there's no guarantee for them that they will get a better return, though Slew appears to have made an impact at least on the basis of the highlights. I expect Filip Kiss is a decent player, but he has barely played in the last 18 months: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIlip_Kiss His description as having earned "a reputation as a tough tackling midfielder who is both physical and aggressive" sound right up County's street right enough. Wish Oz was fit!
The Cup
Kiss looks like he could be a great signing for RC. All their signings look like they could be good tbh. It's unlikely that Kiss will start the game though as Adams will probably keep a winning team. It's probably a good time to play RC before they settle in. The Cup
Actually RC did the same last season. Stuggled in the first half of the season, spunked loads of cash in January and finished in the top 6. I think if Boyd stays at Killie then St Mirren will finish 11th. simoncordiner
The Sun has us linked with a loan for Dean Shields. My Morton supporting mate says he's going to there, which would make sense to follow Kenny Shields. He'll be going somewhere, Rangers are rooked. mhs
The Sun has us linked with a loan for Dean Shields. Would be happy with that, another attacking option in midfield or even to come off the bench. Can't help feeling Archie should be looking to bolster the defence and holding midfield first though. lady-isobel-barnett
Despite them winning he didn't look that special when he played for sevco U20s. He may well have been returning from injury or been short of match fitness. Said without any real conviction but this guy sacrificed his career learning curve to go and play in the bottom division. Is that typical of the type of character we'd need for a tricky second part of the season?
jagfox
He did well for Killie. Saw him play against our u20s and he was okay. He has been in the press recently stating he is fit and becoming frustrated at lack of game time. He is reported in today's Scotsman as being a target for Hibs. He is also seeking £200,000 to cancel his iBroke contract of 4 years and £7,000 a week! So a short term loan is a possibility, but unlikely, imo. marco77
No wonder Rangers are losing £1 million a month if players like Dean Shields is on £7000!!!!!!!!!!!!! Edited January 10, 2014 by marco77
Stewarty
I really, really hope we're able to secure Fraser for the rest of the season. He's a player that can add a bit of dynamism to the midfield and break our tendency to pass it sideways across the edge of the opposition box. If this is Archie's priority I'm a happy Jag's fan.
