allyo
7th would be our best finish since 1981. What do we need?
billy bookcase
RC winning. I don't know whether to be happy or sad about it. it's all very confusing
Yellow & Redneck
To be honest, I'd rather Hibs win so we can secure our place with a win tomorrow night. Don't fancy going into Saturday's match with RC off the back of a good result.

Don't fancy going into Saturday's match with RC off the back of a good result. We would be safe with a win tomorrow night regardless. We would be safe with a draw - so long as Kilmarnock don't win. I think I've got that right.
Sinistar
5 minutes injury time! if County win, they're safe. Perhaps this is a good result for us they will arguably take their foot off the gas on Saturday. Edited May 6, 2014 by Sinistar
distel
Does this mean we only need one point now?

thebiglemon
Does this mean we only need one point now? No- but it might be enough depending on a bunch of stuff Edited May 6, 2014 by thebiglemon
stillresigned
You can forget all the stats, if we just beat Hertz tomorrow we are safe.

I think I've got that right. Correct. Simple solution is to beat Hearts.
allyo
Good result. Means that a draw tomorrow would be enough if Killie fail to win. (Sportsound has it wrong as usual). If we get one more point then there's only one combination in nine that would see us finish 11th
milhouse
draw tomorrow should be safe regardless of other results unless big defeats?

p12tfc
Can see the nightmare scenario of us losing and killie winning tomorrow and we need something on final day ( or hope hibs get hammered )
allyo
draw tomorrow should be safe regardless of other results unless big defeats? Not quite. Killie win tomorrow, and a draw, would put us 11th
banderas
If we win AT TYNECASTLE then we are clear and its a fight between Hibs and Killie as they play each other and any result drops one of them and both cant match a total that Thistle would have if they win at Tynecastle. The other hope is that ST Mirren don't go to sleep and turn over Killie ( season form says Killie 2-1 ) , then a draw puts us in the driving seat again , if Killie win then Hibs go down , if hibs win then killie go down, a draw assuming Killie win against st m , then it might be down to goal difference , which we would lose out on , if we lose to RC. Got all that , now forget it and get your collective fingers out and beat hearts , collect your money for end season targets of staying in the SPFL and have a happy holiday they know they can do it , it been done before 1-0 , 2-1 , 2-0 , 10-9 does nae matter , get it done. The Cup
It would be horrific to drift into the playoff after the amount of times we have dropped points from a winning position. Nothing but an extremely professional performance is acceptable tomorrow.
Gary Peebles Tackle
What we need tomorrow is 7 early goals. Any less & I'll still be bricking it with 15 mins to go...

Harrybriscoe
Well, now the mist is beginning to clear a little. After trying different scenarios it appears we need 2 pts from the next two games to be safe without relying on others. One point from the two remaining games would leave us open to losing out on goal difference on the final day. Don't want to dwell on that thought too long! Graemei
Control the midfield and watch their wide players and we can win this. Definitely nervy stuff, though also quite exciting.
Third Lanark
The more we win the higher up the league and the bigger the cash prize. More money to get most of the players on far longer deals
