potty trained
What are the seating arrangements for the game against them? Same as usual. North stand season ticket holders have had a paper ticket for the main stand posted out to them, I believe.
scotty
I'd like to know as I usually walk along the canal and into the JH from there. If the JH is split again I'll need to go down Maryhill Rd and enter from the south end. Haven't seen any chat about anyone having to move. Could it be the celtic fans have been rehabilitated and are going into the main stand? Thanks PT. Posts clashed. Third Lanark
Anyone know if we or Celtic have sold many tickets for this game? No mention on official website if people can pay at the gate or have to buy tickets in advance. I have a season ticket but with it being the holidays there may be back in Glasgow who were thinking of going

stillresigned
Hope the atmosphere ain't as poisonous as it was when we played them at Firhill, when they won the league! Probably will be though!
Big Col
Depends if there are Sellick twats in hospitality again. And if there are, I hope our new stewards take care of the situation more competently than the last lot.
partickthedog
I am a North Stand season ticket holder but for reasons which no longer apply (related to guests I had with me) I chose to go to the Jackie Husband Stand rather than the Main Stand for the 2 home games against Celtic last season. This time I will be in the Main Stand and I have been posted my ticket for M7/R/150. Anyone know where that is (approximately) and what sort of view there might be (any badly placed stanchions etc)? I presume that standing rather than sitting will be the norm but please correct me if I am wrong. Will seat numbering be insisted on or will it be stand (or sit) where you like? I would certainly never dream of evicting a fellow Jags fan from "my" seat, but if I find a good vantage point somewhere else, am I in danger of being evicted? Memories of the recent confusion and stewarding inconsistency at St Mirren Park are still fresh!
yoda-jag
ptd, as pt posted in thread earlier "same as usual". that's to say, normal north stand rules apply ..... stand (or sit) where you like.

Not sure of the view from your seats, went to the last game and sat in the main stand, sit where you like I would imagine. Hope it's better in the main stand this time than last, it was very bad nasty atmosphere, it's a good old stand, just a shame about some of the twats (from both sides) that were in it! allyo
Don't really care how the Celtic fans act (as long as they don't hurt anyone). It's the way that many Thistle fans were acting the last time that upset me. I hope we don't see a repeat.
sick in the basin
Simple way to lessen any poisonous atmosphere - how about Stewards/Police do the job they are paid to rather than turn a blind eye to what's going on in front of their face. The last game at Firhill was the only game in 35 yrs I've left before the end - how there wasn't a riot at the city end of the JH i'll never know. A repeat of this January win would do nicely Edited December 30, 2014 by sick in the basin

northernsoul
I'm sure for the game in April at Firhill I managed to be let into the Main Stand with a JHS season ticket. This was pre-organised with the Club beforehand I'm sure. For the game in October I bought a ticket and handed my season ticket to someone else to use. Can anyone else verify this on here before I contact the Club?
kji7
I chose my seats online, so if someone is where I am supposed to be I will be asking them to move. What stand you in mate? The letter that came with my main stand replacement for usual north stand place requested that on this occasion we sit (stand) in allocated seats. I don't really care either way but some consistancy would be nice. I don't expect the main stand to be much more than half full anyway unless Celtic fans start buying tickets for home support areas. twinny
I'm in the main stand. You're probably right in that it won't be so busy, and we'll be standing too but I'd like to stand in the location I chose online.

sick in the basin
Pity many of us weren't around to enjoy beating them 4 times in a year in 1960 - presumably our most successful consecutive run against either of the old(co)firm
Lenziejag
It is a bigger pity that it is 19 years since we last beat them in a competitive game - although that will make tomorrow's victory sweeter.
