twinny
Mind you, I would equally love it if Doolan could grab his first away goal in the League in over 18 months. Bearing in mind he’s still in line for a Killie grand slam this season. Happy now? I bet you are. In fact he's on for a double grand slam if he can score twice in each upcoming Killie match. Assuming of course that we finish in the bottom six

Barney Rubble
from looking through last years fixtures I think it was 19, though I've probably counted wrong. You are correct - after 16 games last season we had 19 points, 2 more than we have at the same stage this season.
Ancipital
Idle Sunday afternoon thought- Robbie Muirhead joins Ryan Stevenson on the list of players to score for and against us since promotion- is there anyone else on that list? And who else has done it in say, the last 25 years? Few to get started with Gerry Britton Mark Roberts James Grady Martin Hardie Scott McLean Alex Burns Scott Chaplain? Jamie Mitchell Pat Keogh Colin McGlashan (theme emerging here)

And who else has done it in say, the last 25 years? Good one. Those are the only two since promotion (unless we include the o.g. unfortunates). First on the list beyond that is Lyle Taylor for Falkirk in January 2013. Scott Chaplain? Aye, a Challenge Cup winner for the wee Rovers at Firhill in August 2006. Stuart Taylor? Aye, for St Mirren, Airdrie and Hamilton. Jeezo. Hates us. Steven and Joe Craig both done it, wonder if that's unique for a faither and son? potty trained
MoJo must have scored against us at point. Toastie for Well ? Did Gary Harkins not score fro Dundee at Firhill ? MoJo scored on his debut for Hearts in a cup game at Firhill. Chick Young was reporting at the game. partickthedog
Kenny Deuchar scored numerous times against us but did partly redeem himself with a mighty own goal for us (while playing against us at Firhill). Damon Gray slightly undid his good work against Rangers Oldco by netting for Berwick Rangers when they knocked us out of one of the wee cups

jagfox
MoJo must have scored against us at point. Toastie for Well ? Did Gary Harkins not score fro Dundee at Firhill ? Alex 'Toastie' Burns scored for St Mirren against us at the start of our promotion season to the SPL in a 3-3 draw. We signed him later in the season and I think he scored for us against St Mirren in the second fixture at Firhill. I think this was 3-3 to, although possibly another Desmond

Players who have scored for and against us in the same season, tho' the same team as with Toastie will be very rare methinks. Won't be many others (if any) since the transfer window but perhaps a good few before.

The Jukebox Rebel
Albert Craig in 95-96. Pretty sure he scored v Falkirk in a 1-1 draw at Firhill and then against us in a 0-3 defeat at Firhill later that season. Very well done. Yep, Albert had just been swapped for Nicky Henderson around about Christmas time, and he scored against us just a couple of weeks later. Typical! Strangely Derek Ferguson, Albert Craig, Maurice Johnston, David Elliot and Paul McGrillen all apeared against Jags that day. This is actually the last instance of a player scoring for and against Thistle in the same season (excepting own goals). December Teaser Including friendlies, but excluding own goals, 53 players (who scored at least once in their careers for Thistle) have scored against the Jags since 1996-97. The full list is included below in alphabetical order by forename. It shows the number of goals scored as well as player, clubs scored for and year span of the goals in question. 19 out of 53 have identified so far.
