This completely, why do Thistle keep feeling the need to change to something different every time. Hamilton Accies seem to be able to retain a basic hooped shirt year in year out - why can we not? According to the official website they already have 675 votes at 6.30 pm. That seems to me to be a rather incredible response given that's already equating roughly to a quarter of our regular home support at Firhill. I suppose with access to the site open to all many of these votes will be from non Jags fans, which asks the question why bother. I don't usually comment that much on strips except if they stray from our traditional colours. I certainly don't like either but the absence of black is just wrong. Option B would make a decent training top or if the red was black a good away top. Same shorts and socks for the home and away is a tad poor. Red with a shadow stripe on the shoulders and sleeves. Red with a shadow chequer board design under the arms. A blank yellow patch on the back. That's not even looking at the collar. Would have been better offering the vote to season ticket holders/jagzone members, creates a slight incentive to be one of those & stops the vote being sabotaged (even though there's not much to sabotage as they're both pants).
