Fawlty Towers
Tuesday evening will be the first opportunity a lot of us will have to see our new players in action. It is also an opportunity to lay down a marker against a rival in our division. But more important than both of these it will be a chance to pay our respects to Mr McParland so hopefully we will get the best turnout possible (fully aware it is mid July and a midweek) tomorrow.
Yellow & Redneck
No excuses. As soon as we have the ball in the Morton half, we should be lofting high-balls at Scully and see what happens.
Norgethistle
Back from in Glasgow so looking forward to an eventuate Firhill after a few pints in the Woody, hoping we can press on from Saturday against what should be better opponents and a better gauge of how we should perform in the championship this year
lady-isobel-barnett
Was rather critical of the overuse of the long passing attempts on Saturday. Conditions overhead and underfoot weren't suitable for that approach. Tomorrow night, on a bigger better surface with hopefully less wind, things should be far more conducive to that sort of game. Christie should've benefited from his near hour at Stenny but wouldn't be surprised if he needs subbed and we have to improvise again at right back. It was interesting that on his Jagzone preview for the game that Christie indicated that everyone was fit, although I do not know what he would be authorised to say if there were injuries. jags on tour
Archie said it’s only Lennox that is out, he is going for a scan on his knee. He said Bell was fit to play on Saturday but they didn’t risk him and he should start tonight. No mention of Bannigan or anyone else..... Not sure which would be more surprising; Scully playing a blinder, or us being awarded 2 penalties. Good news on Bell, strangely no word of Bannigan. Norgethistle
Archie only mentions Lennox being injured for tonight in The Jagszone interview, also stated we only have 1 striker (Dools) and Storey (Take it he’s still being moved on the way he said it) and that Jack Sorer was brought up as a striker but during a trial game he realized he wasn’t a striker, does put some questions against our scouting network but fai play for seeing the possibility of a good midfielder in him
jagfox
To commemorate the sad passing of former manager, hall of fame inductee and Thistle legend, David McParland, there will be a minute’s applause held ahead of kick-off at tonight’s Betfred Cup game against Greenock Morton.
