H Wragg
Uninspiring. I wouldn't be upset at all if we went out. I would be. I want silverware.

Guy Incognito
To be honest, I'm quite underwhelmed by this, especially since it is a mid-week game.
stillresigned
From my recollection, our record at Tannadice is fairly dismal and to be honest United on their own midden is usually a draw I would seek to avoid. That said it'd be a good indicator of our progress or lack of it this season. To be frank Tannadice, Pittodrie and Macdiarmid Park were all grounds I'd hope to avoid. That said shit happens and we'll just have to make the best of a difficult job.
John Blutarsky
3rd Round Draw Hibernian v Stranraer Dundee v Inverness CT Celtic v Morton Livingston v Motherwell Hearts v Queen of the South Falkirk v Aberdeen Dundee United v Partick Thistle Hamilton v St Johnstone Ties to be played on Tuesday September 24 and Wednesday September 25 Expect Celtics v Greenock will be the TV match if it's terrestrial and not satellite. Any idea why BBC shortbread sportsdrivel referred to it as the quarter finals draw?
1 John Lambie
TV rarely show one of the OF at home in a cup so don't think the Celtic game will be on. Dundee v ICT & Falkirk v Aberdeen are likely candidates as it's more of a shock if a lower league team beats a top flight one. Is there even a tv deal to show a last 16 game? I'm not sure! allyo
If we're going to win it we'll have to win tougher games than this.

Paulo
Meh. Not a great trip to make midweek. Over the whole excitement that covered the first game of the season, so this doesn't inspire. Still, we'll do them just for good measure.

lady-isobel-barnett
Falkirk vs Aberdeen choosen by BBC for TV on Wednesday 25th with 7.15pm kick off. now there's a perfect example of Scottish football thinking. Away team's fans travelling 130+ miles so let's have the kick off half an hour earlier than usual.

Well is that not the point I'm making? We know Aberdeen have a healthy away support but if they have to take time of work to travel as time is too tight then they'll have to settle for TV. ian_mac
Can get a lift there and back with my united supporting mate so I'll probably go to this. Would be nice to go far in the competition but we shouldn't be worrying about getting beat. Hopefully the players play without any pressure to get through as I think they would benefit from this.
