Weebaw1
How did he manage to become the worst manager in the UK after being such a brilliant gaffer at PTFC? Don't feel sorry for the Dundee filth but what did York City do to deserve it?

Blackpool Jags
Tea's oot, ya wee fare-dodgin scunner. Thought ye were too good for us, eh? lady-isobel-barnett
I know we should really let this thread go by now but here's another fine example of ratnamarism that highlights his character. Source http://www.deadlinen...cessor-sought/? Comment People don’t understand this side of it and the chairman has been very supportive of me. It’s something I wish I had earlier on in my managerial career. David Beattie? Certainly not as I remember. In fact it was McNamara's betrayal of his support that so upset our chairman. Stephen Thompson? Not my favourite person. But he was most supportive of McNamara when it came to feathering his contract and extricating his way out of his previous one. Our ex manager appears to have moved on from writing sitcoms to re-writing history.
Jaggernaut
He seems to think that a 10-month stint is "a long time." Well, it probably seemed like it to the York supporters and officials.
The Jukebox Rebel
^ A brilliant gaffer at PTFC? The facts are irrefutable. We had one brilliant manager in 2012-13.
Ruchillnomore
The former Celtic skipper has also been plagued by off-the-field woes, most notably being ordered to pay a hefty fine for failing to purchase an £86 train ticket as he travelled between Edinburgh and York. Obviously not enough time on the train to buy a ticket or maybe spent a little too long in toilet :happy2:

partickthedog
Could Jackie be a realistic shout for Scotland manager? He had a fair measure of international experience.Presumably he is readily available.

BowenBoys
Curzon Ashton 2 York City 1 I guess Jackie McNamara (ex-Manager) won't be sending Jackie McNamara (Chief Executive) a bill for his contribution to getting York City into the first round of the FA Cup.
