The Arch
The new Evening Times reporter said he thought Bannigan would be back within 2-3 months max, so I think we'd all take that for best part of two years more of Banzo.

Well done The Arch at least you've commented on the the original post and ignored the pun (ish) idiots
sabbath
Agent must be gutted he couldn't find a punter, perhaps Conrad should have followed suit. Now Bannigan's back, lets hope he produces what we all know that's in him, and also eight goals from midfield.....onwards and upwards

lady-isobel-barnett
I'd rather have Conrad than yesterday's trialists. Forgotten his name but the left full back, who played in the 1st half at Glentoran (and I think at Dumbarton) made just about as poor an impact as I've ever seen a trialist make. jags on tour
Do you remember the trialist that played in the midfield next to Osman at Dumbarton a few years ago, he was massive and has got to be the worst ever.

sabbath
if a trialist is better than the young team coming through, then questions must be asked....

lady-isobel-barnett
if a trialist is better than the young team coming through, then questions must be asked.... True, if the young team coming thru weren't around 17 year old.
Dick Dastardly
Was there another Albanian keeper then. I'm sure that Lambie made a comment about if he was an international, he wondered what sport it was in.
ThickAsThieves
if a trialist is better than the young team coming through, then questions must be asked.... Nonsense. Osman was a trialist and he's one of our most important players.
Graemei
Rumour on Facebook Bannigan is going in for a cruciate ligament operation? Could be bollocks though, anyone heard anything about his return or injury recently? To the contrary would be nice.

Could be bollocks though, anyone heard anything about his return or injury recently? To the contrary would be nice. Archie said at the fan day that it maybe would've better if Banzo had done his cruciate as with that at least you know how long you'll be out. Sadly the essence of the rumour is in fact true http://ptfc.co.uk/news/2016-2017/august_2016/stuart_bannigan_injury_update Doesn't look like we'll see Banzo play much this season if at all. angry gaz
Crap about Banzo, what is the Gary F situation?
Firhillista
We won't see either Bannigan or Dumbaya this season, which is a real blow as there's a case for describing them as our two best players. Gordon's a good replacement for Dumbaya, but I don't think we have anyone on the books who's close to Bannigan's stature. It would be great if we could afford to go after a midfielder as well as the centre half we need. Unfortunately, it's beginning to look like this might be a season where we talk about what might have been...
sandy
It's a bad one for Stuart, but maybe a chance for Gary to show what he can do for us when he is fit?
MonehJags
In a game of little loyalty we have kept a few boys on the books during the lowest points of their career. Up until banzo's injury he was gone, he believed it was time to move on to bigger and better things. Now he is gettin a wage and will be lucky if he kicks a ball by this time next year. I wonder what will happen should he make a full recovery, will be as quick to look for another switch away? We dont exactly have an abundance of cash, so to keep paying wages for a patient than strengthen other areas ie the defence could be detrimental to the club. Stuart received his injury playing for us and that to me means a hell of a lot. I wouldn't support a club that would've cast him adrift. Put another way I would feel more than uneasy supporting a club that's sole player policy was based on purely commercial judgement.
