Stephen1876
Ironic if he goes there after Liam rejected them because he didn't know the future managerial situation at the club!

Big Col
The story's in the Daily Record. I wouldn't believe anything that's printed in that sh1trag.
King Kenny
He stated earlier in the week that Lindsay should be looking at a club higher up than Oxford. I'd imagine he would hold similar ambitions for his own career.
lady-isobel-barnett
Ironic if he goes there after Liam rejected them because he didn't know the future managerial situation at the club! Certainly ironic but probably connected in so much as Liam would no doubt have mentioned Archie in positive terms. Certainly would have brought his name into the limelight.
Fearchar
Yes, I can just see the Daily Retard's "quote" now: "'Although I said this club was not good enough for our young player Liam, it is a wonderful opportunity for me,' said Jags boss on his appointment to the hotseat at Oxford United." Aye, right! The Daily Retard has seen the opportunity to create a story as clickbait.
Jaggernaut
Archie is better than that.
allyo
Oxford try to sign Liam -> Liam doesn't go due to managerial uncertainty -> Daily Record notice Oxford United for first time ever -> Oxford manager leaves -> Daily Record link Archie with any vacancy they know about
partickthedog
The only trophy Oxford have a chance of winning is University Challenge.

Yellow & Redneck
Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink also ahead of Archie to land the job. All becoming tiresome this speculation, and it isn't going to help pre-season preparation any. When you have a gaffer as good as Archie, there will always be interest, but it seems unrelenting recently, and speculation over the manager's future isn't a great selling point for potential players. allyo
He's just one of the most promising looking people at the moment, so he's getting linked with everything. If we can just get into the new season, an then have our usual start, this will all go away
douglas clark
Archie had an interview on Jagzone yesterday. He sounded completely committed to us. Perhaps others think otherwise?

Dick Dastardly
He should be interested in Preston. A Championship club on the up and a great springboard to show what he can do. I hope he's not interested, but I'd be happy to show him around the town if he does decide to move.
elevenone
Archie one of us. sandy
The Herald today picks up on possible links between Archie and the Hertz job. I doubt he'd be happy working under Levein.
lithgaejag
No chance he will go. As I have said before he will hold up for a stable English championship club. He has also said that he will wait for the new training facilities to be built Edited August 18, 2017 by lithgaejag
elevenone
He was 9/2 for yesterday but today has drifted out to 8/1. Dougie Freedman seems to be the bookies man for the job. I would be very surprised at Archie working under Levein.

I would be very surprised at Archie working under Levein. Levein is very much the elephant in the room. Reckon it goes some way to explain so many names being thrown around. Maybe the bookies don't know much about Archie and assumed a relatively young manager would tolerate Levein? Kinda hope Schhteeeve McLaren gets the gig just to hear his Embra accent. Efter awl Hertz arra barry club tae manage, ken?
