Is there something written down somewhere that states only complete ******s can be involved in the running of Scottish Football?

Once complete ******s get control they make sure no one  even slightly more competent (or honest) than them ever gets near the levers of power (that would show them up).  So the only way things can go is from complete ******s to ultra complete ******s.  They got control decades ago and just continue to get worse.

Football is either a business or it's not.

If it is, there are rules that are set and that should be followed.

This is quite clearly bare-faced bribery.

If it's supported by those in charge, then I'm not sure where that leaves us.

Come on, they tried to force brand new club into the Premier League and then ignored years of cheating and breaking of SFA/SPL regulations by Ragers (intentional sp.) which should have deprived them of trophies.  What's a few quid in bribes compared to that.

These locations would suggest the Island League rather than the Highland League.

I would not mind being demoted to the Island League for such fantastic away trips.

In passing "Colonsay" is handy, if you are writing a limerick and need a rhyme for Beyonce.

That might just be the most abstract observation made on this forum.

There was a singer called Beyonce

She sang rather loudly all day

On stage in a trice

She sang rather  nice

But said I've a pain in my colon, (I) say!!  :icon_headfones:

Or you could write the world's first song containing "colonoscopy."

A football team from the City of Brechin

Hedged their bets with Neil (who would be king)

They heard the voice of Beyonce

Crackle from the tannoy in Colonsay

When they didn't get what they were seeking

When you think about it not such a big leap as it may seem at first. If the rumours are true i think what the lowland league clubs told the SFA when asked to allow Brechin in their league might be there somewhere. Just a pity they didn't take the same attitude with the colts idea.

They’d be better signing him as a player judging by their results over the last few years!

Maybe not if he takes to his own team mates like this in pre season friendly.  :P

"Full-time advisor"??

Brechin must be rolling in it.

What a monumental waste of manure.

Maybe his duties include trimming the hedge.

Had almost forgotten that little spat.......Hogg’s makeover to Jim Nail was quite astounding and Levein looked like a spare part from Gregory’s Girl .
