Oh well, the fixtures for the group games are out and aren't too bad.

Can't beat a wee Saturday out in Edinburgh.

Also some extra dosh for the Motherwell game being televised.

The day out in Edinburgh is made less inviting by the Rangers v Manchester United friendly at Murrayfield the same day.  Edinburgh and public transport will be awash with “supporters ” of both clubs.

Who has allowed Sevco to play glamour money spilling non entity friendlies while everyone else bar the chosen few battle out the early rounds?

Euro qualifiers miss the group stages.

Link on the PTFC website to the Motherwell website appears to be broken. I did try going direct to the Motherwell website, but having logged in, every seat I tried for this game was unavailable.

I suspect that PTFC have been somewhat precipitate in saying that tickets are available for purchase. Hopefully if I wait a few days or even weeks whatever technical issue there is will have been sorted.

Was just trying to get it done before I forgot. Looks like Fir Park has gone to the Euros!

Tickets on sale for the Edinburgh tie. £12 and concessions available.

Bought through Fanbase so nice and easy if you have bought a ST via the APP.

A couple of clicks and in my online account and a back up screenshot taken.

Might be a tight squeeze, possible sell-out?

Just to update, the link to the Motherwell site has been fixed, and I was able to buy my ticket today.

I think that all that happened was that PTFC posted too early that Motherwell were ready. Motherwell have now caught up.

Trouble in the Middle East https://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/sport/football/crowd-trouble-sees-police-called-as-pre-season-friendly-in-scotlands-central-belt-is-abandoned-4690107

I think Edinburgh City's entire fanbase number only about 300. And that's for home league games.

If their fanbase is as you say they have a disproportionate number of bams. A group of 30 -40 in number setting off flares at a pre season friendly in Broxburn. Not so genteel Edinburgh.🫎

Do the club get extra money or is it one of those things where it gets divided among the 42 clubs?

not sure tbh.  I personally will watch first half as working that night and will miss the big derby return of McCall in the flesh.

I think Motherwell have some off-field issues to address too

Kinda looks like your ticket goes on your ST (where applicable). Don't know if that indicates your seat is reserved or it's still sit anywhere?

Just bought one. Doesn't specify a seat grrrr 😆

Really interesting to see what’s happening here, and curious for a personal reflection from any TJF board members as to how they react if we received a proposal similar to Motherwell’s.
