The Cup
Both Fox and Gallacher saved us today. Gall for saving the penalty and Fox for getting sent off and getting Gall on. Fox wouldn't have saved the penatly.

Blackpool Jags
One apiece, keeper red carded, penalty awarded against us, sub keeper does the business, we hold on to remain undefeated. I am am not unhappy. That's it.
The Earl of Hathaway
Not there today, but sounds like a decent point. Keeper sent off and left back makes his debut and Harkins misses a penalty? A point is a good days work in those circumstances... Still unbeaten....bring on the Accies! avie-man
Good chance he would have I'd like to see his record facing penalties. Without looking at stats I can't really remember any saves. Gallacher has saved from memory, three in 2014? (Killie, Aberdeen, Dundee) (?)

Duke Gekantawa
did Fox save one v QOTS in the shootout and one v Cove? And v. Cowdenbeath in the cup last season.
Gingerjag
could have been a blessing that gal came on and saved pen. not not to say fox wouldnt have saved it although we'll never know
twinny
Think Harkins would have hit a better penalty if Fox hadn't got sent off. The delaying tactics worked very well, and I think Fox knew that as he argued his way off the pitch.

Jaggernaut
Gallacher's save from a header after the penalty was even better. How did Bannigan miss that early chance! Judging from the highlights, we did well to come away with a point. Harkins still looks very useful. Judging from the highlights, we did well to come away with a point. Harkins still looks very useful. Reaching half time only one goal up was disappointing. A draw was probably the right result. Can only compare like for like for the first 60 minutes and when we were on top we were well on top. Assuming the red card was warranted we've got to be content with a draw as we rarely looked like getting a second after that and had our backs to the wall for so long. thebiglemon
Last season we would have lost that game. Improvement. Maybe- but like last season we totally dominated 45mins with only a one goal lead to show for it and failed to win, partly (again like last season ) through indiscipline. Let's not get carried away. Having said that gagging for Accies game and think we'll win!!
Fawlty Towers
Having just seen the highlights I think the Fox red card is much the same as Gerry Britton's against Kevin Muscat a few seasons ago. The player is protesting to the ref by waving his arms around unaware of where the other player is and catches him accidently.
Barney Rubble
Having just seen the highlights I think the Fox red card is much the same as Gerry Britton's against Kevin Muscat a few seasons ago. The player is protesting to the ref by waving his arms around unaware of where the other player is and catches him accidently. Not at all. Muscat was/is a cheating h*n barsteward who was behind the King of Spain who unintentionally hit him. Fox should have been nowhere near the ref or McGowan yesterday, as the decision to award the penalty had nothing to do with him - it was unprofessional conduct on his part to become involved and raise his hands.
