jlsarmy
Been a complete waste of money , looks like it might have been a last pay day for Stevenson unfortunately to our cost . Dreadful attitude and should have never been near the team after Tyncastle , won't be missed.

The Earl of Hathaway
Maybe he's having trouble paying his petrol for commuting from Ayrshire in that huge feckoff 4x4 with the personalised number plate that he drives about in. Lindau
Surprised at McColl signing a lazy fat bar steward. Even a half fit Stevenson will do a job in that division. Personally I think it's a great move by Ayr, especially if they can get him till the end of the season.

Lindau
They can have him, as far as I'm concerned. I am happy to see him go. There appears to be a good rapport at Firhill these days with the players and it only takes one bad apple to spoil that. Not saying Stevo is like that but his actions when scoring the winner a few weeks back left a bad taste. Doesn't alter my opinion that he could be a cracking signing for Ayr.

ian_mac
I heard about this happening a few months ago and it was made clear that it was a permanent deal, subject to the player being able to prove his fitness to his new club. This obviously hasn't happened if they are only taking him for a month initially.
Auld Jag
If Ayr don't sign him he will be with us until the end of the season at least. Is there not a rule a player can only play for 2 teams in the same season?
Diego
This obviously hasn't happened if they are only taking him for a month initially. The transfer window is still closed, hence why it's an "emergency loan". They would have to wait to get him on a permanent deal.

Dark Passenger
The transfer window is still closed, hence why it's an "emergency loan". They would have to wait to get him on a permanent deal. It's been timed to end just prior the the closure of the window. If he proves he's fit then there will be a few days to sort out a permanent move. If not, then I reckon his contract will be terminated 'by mutual consent'. Reckon there's too much water under the bridge to make a return to Firhill feasible.
lady-isobel-barnett
If someone has to prove his fitness to a largely part time third tier club how far away would the player be from a regular start at a club in the top division? To my meagre mind that's the most salient point. Fall outs with the manager, alienation from the rest of the squad, even general attitude are surely all secondary issues.
