thebiglemon
Lots of potential for headlines "Jags Blitzkrieg Hearts" "German crushed Hamilton like a Panzer tank over Russian civilians" "etc"
Garscube Road End
Last I heard Craig was struggling to impress at Dumbarton Recently took up coaching role at Wycombe.
Vinnyjag
Think we should give the guy a chance before people start making assumptions on how good or bad he is. I remember seeing Osman in a pre-season friendly at Dumbarton and he was rank and also didn't appear to have a good pedigree..... Let's wait and see but in the meantime let's get behind the guy

stillresigned
Let's be honest giving our place in the football pecking order we've no right to be too pickie. It will most likely be a straightforward case of hit or miss. The only reassuring aspect is Archies undoubted ability to uncover hidden gems as opposed to deadweights. Therefore, I'll give the lad a fair chance.

It will most likely be a straightforward case of hit or miss. The only reassuring aspect is Archies undoubted ability to uncover hidden gems as opposed to deadweights. Therefore, I'll give the lad a fair chance. so it goes like this... Thistle Fan: "Antonio who?" Mr & Mrs German: "Patrick who?" (no need to fix that for me). For me it looks like a perfect fit. He looks like a smashing lad and Archie thinks he's worth a place in the squad so he must have seen something or is relying on a trusted adviser - and in Archie We Trust. Welcome to Firhill Antonio and to the SPFL I hope it proves to be really successful for you and Partick Thistle. It's a great place to be and your guaranteed a warm Glaswegian welcome.

Mediocre Pundit
I was chatting about the "Partick Thistle signed A German" in work today and it turns out one of my mates (Indian) is a Kerala Blasters fan. Random. Anyway, he said German is decent.

Welcome Antonio -hope you can settle down here. Funny but something tells me you are going to be our new Rod Mac Donald.

Norgethistle
I can remember folk questioning the then manager signing a forward from the juniors who then got put out on loan. Welcome to Firhill Herman

Members Willjag
Sure he's not scored a lot in the past, but he is only 24. Hopefully we're the right Club for him to get his career up and running.
Barney Rubble
Gone. http://ptfc.co.uk/news/2015-2016/april_2016/antonio_german_departs
lady-isobel-barnett
Not that surprised. Thought he'd have appeared in more development games if he was going to feature. Think the only way he'd have got game time is thru injuries. Doubt German ever got fully match fit and allowing for that looked reasonable in the U20s games he featured in but nothing more. Jaggernaut
Very odd. Will surely feature in a "history item" in 20 years or so.
Rid Skwerr
That's two players' shirts I've won over the years. One is Antonio German's (think I saw him play for 30 minutes in total), And the other........? Adam Strachan's ! The curse of Rid Skwerr, I guess.
The Legend Blows
Classic Archie signing. Free transferred come May. Damn you Archie. You released Antonio in April just to spite me. I look forward with baited breath to Archies next waste of space signing come the end of August.

Veejag
No, of course he's not. Archie, like all managers, has consistently signed duds. He, unlike Mixu or Lee Clark, at least has the decency not to give them game time! Mark Kerr and Henoc Mukendi (although not really Archie's doing) immediately spring to mind. Norgethistle
All managers at all clubs sign duds, Lambie signed Roger Eli, Rangers payed £10 million for Flo, Celtic have a fair few too. Sometimes a player just doesn't work at a club
lady-isobel-barnett
Sometimes a player just doesn't work at a club Like Gunning at Tannadice perhaps. http://stv.tv/sport/..._medium=twitter Reckon there might be health issues here but very strange behaviour indeed.
