mad-jag
Pretty sad to see him go. Was definitely a confidence player but one of the few existing players who really got better after Caldwell arrived. Wish him all the best wherever he goes. Juanito
Decent player at times, but pretty glad he is away, doesn't really fit comfortably into a system we have played in the last couple of years, good guy though and at times really looked like he cared about the team in both the last few seasons. Had such high hopes after the St.Mirren game at Firhill in the Bet Fred Cup that we had unearthed a gem.
dougie247
Took a wage drop and played a vital role for us this season.. will be missed

dl1971
A decent player but inconsistent. I wish him well but keen to see who our new signings will be.
Guest
Bit gutted, he's a very good player struggling to get consistency. He'll do well elsewhere, fingers crossed not against us though.
muirparkman
Saw him last day of the season at Palmerston after the game. Were a couple of the team milling about the carpark together but he was in the cafeteria himself and not looking really like he belonged. Sorry to see him go , I quite liked Blair. RaveOnBobbyLaw
Couldn’t fault his effort last season but not overly fussed. For every decent game he had four or five ranging from meh to invisible.
Thistle88
Spittal could be a fantastic player if a manager can find an out and out position for him but its sometimes felt more of a problem fitting him in because he's good player, if that makes any sense. Good luck to him, think it's a decent wage for a new player to come in on. Edited May 31, 2019 by Thistle88
Barney Rubble
Good luck to Blair, wherever he ends up. Scored a good few goals for us from midfield, and was outstanding against the south side puddle drinkers in the 2-2 game. Hindsight can be a pain in the ass, but hindsight tells me he may have arrived a year too late.

Jaggernaut
I'd put him in the "totally average player for us" category.
Weebaw1
He was indicative of Thistle in his time here Usually pretty rubbish. He scored some great goals but has no pace, no pass and can’t cross.

Probably the type of player who'll do OK in the top tier if playing alongside fitter players. Wouldn't call him 'average' in my book in so much as when he was on his game he was very good but had the downside of being near anonymous too often. That is typical winger stuff, hardly unexpected. Problem was playing in a more central role, as he was asked to do, demands more consistency. Maybe more miffed to see him go as I thought he was turning in a higher percentage of decent displays latterly. Spittal did though contribute an integral part of our overall shortage of pace. So if we can redress that problem by bringing in a nippy replacement then I don't feel we'll be worse off.
Lambies Lost Doo
Offered so much. Was the kind of attacking player we were crying out for. Started well then tailed off much like Niall Keown and we got relegated.
