sb1876
We'll probably get Dungdee Utd away, still, put a marker down early by taking all 3 points.

As we're playing them up there on the 18th, this is probably a good guess!
Lenziejag
It will be Dundee Utd away or Dunfermline away.

Exactly my thoughts too, although if there’s any fairness (ha ha!) we should have a home game to start this season
JeanieD
............................. in the vein of turning up at another club's celebrations I suspect Airdrie away is also a possibility

Maybe Dundee will have the home fixture seeing as they're promoted champions? So that would rule out Tannadice, assuming that we kick off our division the same day as the Premier. I'm also assuming Doncaster & Co will want us playing ICT as near to Xmas as possible.

Good point about Dundee. I suppose getting Morton or Ayr at Firhill would be decent.

jagfox
Airdrie at home. Decent crowd and a good chance of a win, to kick start the season.

CotterJag
Watching with interest for the game on 18th Nov. It's the day before Scotland v Norway and would be good if we were at home, for at least two reasons. 1. I'm up that weekend with my Nephew, who's yet to see Thistle at home 2. As Premiership games will be postponed and with many fans travelling to Glasgow for the Scotland match, we could get a few interested neutrals Pretty sure that the last twice this has happened, we've got Inverness away, usually on the Friday night. Maybe one was Falkirk away in that other cup, now I think on it? In any case, can we just be at home on 18th November.

We had a few Welsh fans at the game we beat Livvy 6-1 back in the Championship winning season.
Cfirejkl
Selfishly I will be more focused on the October fixtures as I will be in Glasgow for the first time since Covid. All set to make hotel arrangements on the basis of where we play (wife has been understanding!)
Dick Dastardly
3rd to 13th August will clash with the World Cycling Championships in Glasgow. Might be several road closures making travel around and into town difficult. Wouldn’t bet against us being away both weekends.

Was at that game. Was some performance, with our central midfielder (can't remember his name - left for Dundee Utd I think), running the show. CotterJag
I really do and it's getting worse. Wouldn't have slept thinking about that. He was superb that day, as were the whole team.
