Lenziejag
An upcoming away game at a ground we don’t often get a positive result. Doolan’s first defeat was here, I think. Combined with a new manager at ICT, could be another tough day on Saturday. Only likely change would be McMillan back, if fit and assuming no new injuries. Jaggernaut
We'll do them.
lady-isobel-barnett
Forecast is for a cold wet day up in Inverness. So nothing new there then. Enjoyable trip spoiled only by the out of town ground itself. Agree no need to change starting line up with the exception of McMillan. Heard he has a strain that could be aggravated by an early return. Thus I wouldn't be surprised if he plays he's either subbed early or comes on from the bench. A lot riding on McInroy. Can he plug that gap in defensive midfield? Signs were positive on that front against the Pars when he won a good few first and second balls. Certainly feel getting both McInroy and Robinson on the park together could be crucial.
thornwoodjag
Can see Mcmillan being rested until after international break.
Lambies Lost Doo
Same team as v Dunfermline please. If McMillan is fit bring him on as a sub to protect him.
Jaggernaut
We've had a few decent results up there in "recent" years, though I vaguely remember that one was at least partly due to some weird referee or linesman decision. Anyway, as I said: we'll do them. (I may be posted missing for the next few days......)
Albert's Ghost
Anyone think the game could be off? A lot of rain forecast. And all trains off.
JeanieD
If the SPFL had the interests of supporters at heart they should ensure an early decision is made as regards postponement - then again this is the SPFL.
lady-isobel-barnett
That's me ******* around trying to get a Scotrail refund. Plus I've already bought my match ticket.
Albert's Ghost
Elgin game is already off. It's been raining all night, no sign of a let up.

However given the “do not travel unless essential” messages, with potentially up to 3 weeks rain in 24 hours, Scotrail cancelling all services to Inverness etc hopefully common sense prevails! Auld Jag
Pitch might be playable, but fans travelling to game should also be considered. Also playing in current weather you cannot give your best. Safe journey to everybody going to the game.

Smurph
Thankfully Dundee and Dunfermline are nowhere near Inverness.
sandy
The pitch at ICT could be as bad as it was in our cup reply up there in 2003.

Auld Jag
Will be very tricky conditions, full concentration required from every player for the full duration of the game. The ref also needs to take the conditions into consideration as well. Edited October 7, 2023 by Auld Jag
Stephen1876
The pitch is looking great, credit to the Caley groundsman
