Just think potentially a midweek game at Cappielow now beckons!! Having said that the pitch should not the sole consideration in these circumstances - safety of spectators inside and outside the ground as well as how they get to the game should also play a part but seldom seems to. If there had been any kind of transport tragedy involving football fans Geissler (or at least the BBC) would have been the first to ask her why on earth weren't football matches cancelled in view of the storm.
