Sideways pass after sideways pass. Kris Foolan's "tactics" would get football cancelled. Only time we have looked remotely dangerous is when we have driven into the space and played a positive forward pass...who would have thought.

Totally agree with that last sentence. When there is an open space in front of you, drive forward into it, commit some opponents and maybe there will be the opportunity to shoot or play a killer pass. Why go sideways? Dan is doing his best but he is not a winger. We have 3 of them on the bench.

Megwa looks like he’s on a totally different wavelength from his team mates. Feels like the real weak spot for me.

That and Graham being too slow up front, and a lack of urgency from those around him to offer other options.

McBeth at least driving forwards a bit.

Has the feel of a game where a mistake is going to decide it.

Same as 2nd half on Saturday.  McBeth with plenty of the ball but no movement up front to pass to. Then he'll pass out to O'Reilly who just passes backwards most of the time.  Turner looks so lightweight, not winning any ball.  Here's hoping it gets better.

If we have to lose, let’s do it trying to win!

Our players usually receive the ball facing backwards and that is then the only direction in which to play.

In the words of Travis: Turn Turn Turn.

My one hope is that Hamilton keep playing dangerous crossfield passes. If we could intercept one……

Agree. Not to compare him, but McBeth has always stuck me as a poor man's Scott McTominay. He's at least willing to take a few strides forward and look for a positive pass. On the other hand, too many of our players want to take the sideways, tap, tap, tap approach. The co-commentator is being kind by saying that we are being "patient," waiting to draw Hamilton out. That's nonsense. We are lethargic and uncreative.

This is a carbon copy of the game in September. Appalling defending as usual,  accompanied by the absence of any serious goal threat. You wouldn’t put any money on us coming back from a goal down. Surely Doolan, will make some attacking subs soon. I guess there is a first time for everything?
