stuart_adam
Think tonight just furthers my belief that when they are fit Stanway, Lyon and MacKenzie need to be in and about the starting line up. Too many pretenders in this team. Fair play to Stanway and Fitzy for changing this game.

westertonjagfan
Partick Thistle, Boing Boing. What a goal from young Ben.
Fearchar
A lucky win in the end. Unlike another fan on here, judging from the TV picture IMHO the Accies' top was bowfin'. Ours was ace, though. Edited January 10 by Fearchar

dl1971
All about winning. Can't believe some people post....before the 90 mins are up. Always a laugh
Big Col
The players finally got their fingers out, and in the end, a deserved victory.
Yellow & Redneck
Happy with the win, and fair play to the lads. However, we were lucky, and we won't go up playing like that. Strange limbo. Doolan will not take this team up recruiting and playing those tactics. But we can't afford to sack him, nor afford to back him in January. Treading water until the end of the season. Fair play to Stanway this evening.
Muscat Jag
Phew!!! Not an easy watch at times but a welcome 3 points. Cracking winner. The officials from start to finish were awful. We got the biggest break with the equaliser.
JeanieD
Undeserved victory - but happy for those who were brave enough to go along (and have some sympathy for the home support which pitched up)
johnkebab71
Brilliant that the changes worked! Great cross from Fitz and great finish from Stanway! Hopefully Stanway can kick on from that, done more in his time on pitch than Crawford or Robinson done.

King Kenny
Fair play to the team, that is an excellent win in horrendous conditions. That pitch is awful at the best of times, never mind when it has a slick ice cover on it. It wasn't pretty, we still look really disjointed at times and some players are way below par/not good enough but I can't criticise them tonight, a win is a win. After how poor last week was and going behind tonight, that showed some character to get the win. Doolan still has some way to go to get this team to click, tonight bought him some more time to figure it out. I thought McBeth was decent at the back, nice to see him move forward with the ball. Third Lanark
I’ve been very critical- In terrible conditions such as those tonight the only important thing is to get the result which we did in awful weather. The pressure was on the players and Doolan in particular and they responded. They were playing for him. Important decisions with subs were made too. I’ve also been very critical of Ben Stanway who I have described as lightweight and easily brushed off the ball. He stepped up massively scoring a brilliant goal and indeed was able to hold off the Accies player with ease in the build up to hitting the shot. Fitzpatrick has had plenty of criticism (too much in my opinion) but played a key part in the first goal. Not so much on here but elsewhere Mitchell has also had his critics but made some key saves tonight
Duke Gekantawa
I thought we were the better side, if not by much. I’m also unsure about whether Graham was offside. Like everyone I thought it clear at first, but a close look (taking into account the camera angle) and now I think the linesman might have it right. Either way, it’s a lot closer/marginal than it first looked
dl1971
Considering how poor we have been, it's remarkable to see that in terms of 2nd or 3rd we are not far away. Huge game coming up against ayr in 2 weeks.

That post comes across as so grudging - it's as though Doolan and Stanway ruined your night Y&R.
