jagfox
Friday night football a game with a big chance to secure 4th place. We've only really put in a decent 45 minutes against Rovers this season so if we can maintain our current improvement we could be in with a chance of all 3 points? Jaggernaut
Yes, confidence is growing, performances. are improving. We can do this! There, that's us jinxed.
jaggy
A very important game (I know they all are 😄) but I think it’s important not to lose to keep the gap between us. Obviously would like to win and I’m sure we can. Also we’re away to Morton next week so it would be good to keep the momentum going. I expect the same team as last week (assuming no new injuries) unless Martin’s fit and a similar performance should be possible. I just looked at the remaining fixtures and we only have 2 home games left after Friday.

Morton’s big chance - QP, Raith and us all at Cappielow.
lady-isobel-barnett
Imagine Raith will not sit back. So I expect it'll be an open game. One thing that has changed since we failed to turn up at Starks is an increased fluidity about the team. More balls are coming thru the centre of midfield but we' still can threaten with cross balls. That said I'd happily take a 1-0 thru a scrappy goal.
Dick Dastardly
I suspect that this will be the biggest test yet for Budd 2.0. If not then the defence will have been superb. A draw will not be much use for Raith, so they won’t be able to sit back.
jagfox
I've liked how we have really negated Queen's Park and Ayr United attackimg threat in the last two games. We do that on Friday we could be good for another win. Even a draw is not a disaster as Rovers and Morton have still to play each other. Vital that we at least avoid defeat. Win, and anything better than a loss at Cappielow next week should more or less secure top four. I wouldn't expect any changes in line up, but was happy with early substitutions on Saturday - which were very effective. Same again tonight please. The QP game was the previous most important and even last week it was vital that we didn’t lose.

fenski
Fitzpatrick appears to be playing right wingback? Jings.

Jaggernaut
Half-time. What an absolutely dire game of football. This performance is reminiscent of the worst of the Doolan era, turning back, no options up front, side to side and backwards. Not even a single shot , ffs. partickthedog
Kelly playing right wing back. Dreadful first half. Raith seem to be filling the midfield and we cannot get out of our own half with any decent possession. Long hopeful punts towards Chalmers is not a tactic. Kelly is solid enough but we are missing Megwa and are short of players with a bit of speed and creativity. I think that we need to change our personnel and approach to push Raith back and get some possession higher up the pitch. Fitzpatrick to share the load with Chalmers would be a start. elevenone
Dire. Raith equally so a saving grace at least. Lucky not a ref of recent weeks otherwise down to 10. Big 2nd half needed.
