The Cup
PartickThistle FC @ThistleTweet Tomorrow's game at Cowdenbeath has been postponed. Likely rescheduled date is Wednesday March 27th. I don't like that date. When was the last time Thistle won a double header?
G SUS
I don't like that date. When was the last time Thistle won a double header? 1933. Simply another record for the players to break. Edited March 18, 2013 by G SUS

Third Lanark
Would have preferred it to be a few weeks away so we are not playing to many midweek games before the cup final and Morton game
G SUS
Would have preferred it to be a few weeks away so we are not playing to many midweek games before the cup final and Morton game We have run out of midweek games to play it in. It needs to be arranged and played ASAP, in case of future postponements. The Cup Final now, for me, is irrelevant. We have to focus on the league. The Devil's Point
3 trips to Fife in 7 days - that will be fun. It really is a nightmare schedule for anyone who wants to go to all three. Three aways, with substantial travelling costs, in seven days is going to be completely unaffordable for a lot of people and its pretty dull for anyone who has to drive the same route three times. I actually like Fife usually (walking in the Lomond Hills and visiting St Andrews and the fishing villages etc) but I'm reluctant to make a holiday out of this. Unless, of course, anyone knows a good bed and breakfast in the Cowdenbeath area?

Lenziejag
How about moving the game vs Raith scheduled for 16th April to next week and the Cowdenbeath game to 16th. Not much of an improvement but at least we wouldn't be going to Central Park twice in 4 days

Not much of an improvement but at least we wouldn't be going to Central Park twice in 4 days Because Raith Rovers already have a game scheduled against Dumbarton. Albert's Ghost
Interesting that the Livi-Accies game, also postponed from tonight, was immediately rescheduled for Wed 27th March. Maybe we're resisting our reschedule. I hope so.
Albert's Ghost
Dammit. Just appeared on the SFL site, Wed 27th March 7.45pm. Still - it will probably be rained/snowed off.
lady-isobel-barnett
Maybe should be in the league reconstruction thread but this has been by and large a mild winter. Well Nov-Feb anyway. Brechin have only recently played their 24th match, us ,26 league games yet we're in the latter stages of March. How in hell will we able to have a league split after 22 games when we've had a normal winter? If clubs like ICT, Ross Co, Brechin, Forfar etc are all in the mix to either drop into or get into the middle eight it'll be even crazier. yoda-jag
Probably the correct choice tbh Very pretty. No fog though. Yellow ball would have been fine Still, at least we are not at the stage of this lot. 29 postponments and 18 matches to play before 27th April. redmike
And, on the plus side, it might mean Cowdenbeath have more in the tank for their game on Saturday.
Steve
Wouldnt be surprised if both cowdenbeath games get called off.
Albert's Ghost
Wouldnt be surprised if both cowdenbeath games get called off. Forecast seems to be improving, but the east wind will persist. East winds are not to be trusted.
stillresigned
It doesn't look promising for either game and into the bargain Cowdenbeath is such a sh*thole.
