P-R
Harry Curran - worst swap deal ever. We lost Roddy Grant as part of the deal and Curran failed to impress and left at the end of the season.

potty trained
Andy Walker Stuart Taylor Jim Slavin Tommy O'Hara Derek Johnstone Sandy Hodge Don't know if Taylor falls into that bracket, maybe a fans perspective, but was he not one of the ones Collins gave a tag line to.. Like: McBride. Best passer of the ball in the SPL. Anis. The speed of a gazelle.
Dark Passenger
Taylor definitely shouldn't be on that list based on the season he had with Falkirk prior to joining us.
thebiglemon
Billy Paxton Can't top square-headed Paxton. £6,000 from Cowden- the fog was our revenge for that piece of business

jaggy
are any of these answers valid to the OP? I think in most cases when we sign a player we hope for the best, there are very few I can think of as being of the 'oh no why are signing him?' variety. The only one that really springs to mind for me was Brannigan

GrantB
Billy Paxton It's hard to trump Paxton. Lamont paid about £10K to Cowdenbeath for his services as well! Darren Brady Colin Stewart Tommy Callaghan

Lenziejag
There was a guy during Lambies era who was played as a trialist for about 30 mins before being hooked, never to be seen as a Thistle player again. Can't remember his name.
