partickthedog
Correct, man city and aston villa. Darren Brady was instrumental in both Raith Rovers and Partick Thistle being relegated in the same season.
jagfaelivi
See York are losing 4-1 at Guisley tonight after scoring first and it's only half an hour in! Inspirational management. How did he do as well with us?
kennymac29
I don't think he will get the chance to quit as they lost 6-1 tonight and his away record now stands at 4 points (and no wins) from a possible 75. BowenBoys
What happens if he wins this game but loses the next one? Indeed. It is a preposterous statement. It doesn't even mention winning, it refers to a 'positive result'. After the thrashing by the part-timers of Guiseley, a 5 - 1 defeat could be seen as a positive result. Big Col
Exactly what I was thinking Ian. Is he effectively one loss away from being unemployed? That's some pressure to be under!
ian_mac
It's a ridiculous situation. Sounds as if York just can't afford to sack him under any circumstances. But knowing Jackie as we do, who's to say he'll ever agree to walk away and miss out on his pay off?
lady-isobel-barnett
That Alloa job must be beginning to look enticing. Not the greatest managerial position granted plus Jim Goodwin is on the books, but on the positive side there's no ticket barrier at the station.
BowenBoys
Please let it be Alloa. Two years later we could look forward to the headline 'Goodbya'

Blackpool Jags
According to a source, he's being lined up for a move to the old East Germany, to become the new manager of Locomotiv Leipzig. A first class career opportunity, the rat will have no reservations about taking it on. Not sure what the timetable is for his appointment, but it could be just the ticket as he strives to get his flagging career, which has gone off the rails since his Firhill days, back on track. jaggy
so much interest & hatred for a guy who probably done us a favour by leaving when he did
ClydebankJag
Yeah but surely the interest & hatred comes about because he didn't leave in order to do us a favour. He left because he thought he was destined for better than us and repaid our club for the faith they showed in him by threatening legal action and sitting behind his new club as they sought to avoid paying fair pre-stipulated compensation.
