I've signed up for Season Ticket and printed it off Ok.  I've also got Fanbase App on my Android Phone but don't see my Ticket Bar Code mentioned on it. Will it be put on for individual matches?

What does that mean ? Anything from 1-999 ?

wouldn’t it be better to tell us when we get over 1000, which actually has some meaning

From the official site:

"Just over three days on from our 2024/25 season ticket launch we are delighted to say that we have sold our 1000th season ticket!"

It took 10 days from season tickets going on sale last season to hit 1500 so lets try and better that:

Was my 1st thought too. But then figured that scotty was telling us that the 1,000 mark had been reached.

Apologies if this info readily available and I've missed it, but do we know what last seasons total was?

going by the post from year ago and @Fawlty Towers count it was just a dozen or so shy of 3000 although maybe we hit that in end.

I am fairly sure that we did get past the 3000 mark but can't say what the exact figure was. One way to ensure we beat that total is for people to get one this year who didn't last season:

Renewed 2 STs by phoning the office. No problems once I got through except the cost was £10 more than the prices quoted in the OS.  ST's are to be sent out in a few weeks' time. The actual cards we have held for a few seasons are now obsolete.

I've now received an e-mail from Fanbase saying my tickets have been added to my Fanbase wallet - whatever that means. The e-mail invites me to look at them but to do so you have to register. I deliberately chose not to use Fanbase. Since I've never been in touch with them (unless my details have been "shared") I assume my tickets will be sent out by the club in due course?  Anyone else wondering this?

This is because there is a £5 surcharge if you want to receive a physical season ticket. If you selected an app-only one there is no surcharge. The old ones will be obsolete because they were issued for use with the Total Tickets platform, which the Club previously used. Fanbase is the new platform.

Fanbase runs the online ticketing platform for the Club. The prompt to sign-up is so that your season ticket can be allocated to your email address and so that, if desired, you can use the app instead of the physical card to gain entry to games.

If fans don't provide their email address via this method, it will also prevent them from participating in the fan ownership structure, as the PTFC Trust then won't be able to contact them even though they are an eligible beneficiary.

You can be opted out completely from marketing from Fanbase and they don't otherwise hold any personal data except for the purposes of enabling fans easily to buy their matchday/season tickets online.

Got to admit that the posts on here are making me think twice about trying to renew my season ticket. I've had one (plastic card), which I've used only once or twice in the past few seasons but which my nephew has used to go to a few matches (that he would not otherwise have gone to). So, can that continue? I don't see why I should have to sign up to some external company and download an app. Why should I need to do that? (Of course, I could do it, but why should I need to do it?). If the status quo (Down Down....) can't continue, then so might my season ticket. though I'll probably find alternative ways to provide the same financial support to the club (e.g. half-time draws, or the new lottery..... But, wait a minute; that's gambling.....!).

Just as regards the last paragraph above, I have been on the Fanbase system for the last couple of seasons due to buying tickets for away games at Hamilton, Morton and Raith. I can happily say that I have not been targetted with any unwanted emails or other communications. Indeed I have always forgotten that I am on Fanbase until the next time to buy an away ticket crops up!

You do not need to download the app. I have, but it is not necessary to either buy or use the ticket

Edited to add: What you are doing now can continue in the same way as before. You will be sent a plastic card in exactly the same way as present (provided you accept the extra fiver). The card has a static QR code as before. You or your nephew can use this card, or even a photo/photocopy of the card, or screencapture (emailed screengrab) of the e-ticket as with the former arrangement.

Pretty much nothing has changed other than the provider (you were on Total ticket's database before, now you'll be on fanbase's)

Exactly this.

All well and good if you have paid the extra amounts for the physical card. The difficulty starts if one person is buying for two or more people. Why a ticket isn’t sent to each person’s Fanbase account at the outset is beyond me. Fanbase solution is physical sharing of wallet or screenshot. How do you even take a screenshot on a phone and the chances of me not losing it over 10 months is about 0%.

Thanks for that! Balance now tipped towards renewing!

Correct, you'll receive your physical card by post.

It's worthwhile checking your details if you have paid for a physical card. I checked my address and it had not been completely transferred. One line was missing. Hopefully the card has not been sent yet as I may not receive it.

As a matter of interest, where would you check this? I cannot see anywhere on the Fanbase App where a postal address is stored.

On the home page there should be an icon at the top right which looks like a wee person. Click on this and your log-in should apperar. Then you should see account details including address.

Thank you Scotty. Another forum member sent me a PM to the same effect, so thank you to him too. It worked perfectly and all details were present and correct.

I was focusing on the options on the top left and did not think of looking at the person on the top right!
