Third Lanark
That’s Falkirk sold an impressive 3500 already. can’t help but feel the club are missing out on a trick and a whole lot of revenue the longer it takes for them to be released

However, I would like to see us get ours on sale as early as possible once the new ticketing partner officially takes over.

It’s a difficult one as while I can see your point- we are still in the middle of a cost of living crisis and it maybe difficult for a lot of people to afford higher prices. The club are bringing out the new Partick Thistle lotto so it might be that people who wish to donate more can join that https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/sign-up-for-the-new-ptfc-lotto-1000-jackpot-and-nine-guaranteed-winners-every-month/

partickthedog
Can absolutely see the arguments both ways on pricing. Total overall cash receipt should be somewhat higher if 5% less buy a season ticket, but the 95% who do pay 10% more. However: Those who ultimately pay for the higher priced season ticket may take longer to be able and/or willing to afford to do so, thus negatively affecting cashflow just at the time when we want to be making these vital early signings. The feelgood factor of an increased number of season ticket sales would be lost. Spinning this as "higher season ticket income" does not come across so well. The more people buy, the more others want to buy. Therefore on balance, and especially bearing in mind the 10% increase last season (when there was a genuine financial emergency), I think that the freeze is the right call this year. Having said that I am neither a mathematician nor an economist and I appreciate that alternative views may reasonably be held. The freeze does not prevent fans eager to provide additional financial support using other means of doing so.

Jaggernaut
How about a "Quids Wins" fund?: Every time the team wins a match by one goal, members donate a quid. A 2-goal winning margin (e.g., 2-0, 3-1, 4-2) sees a 2 quid donation. a 3-goal winning margin (e.g., 3-0, 4-1, 5-2) earns a 3 quid donation. Edited to add: Donations are for the team, not for me!😀 Edited May 31 by Jaggernaut
lady-isobel-barnett
As others have said increasing the price of a ST could be false economy. Not doing so could be an opportunity lost. I'll leave others to decide. What possibly could've been done would've been to introduce new levels of STs. Season Ticket Plus if you like. Packages including a discounted day at hospitality (was done before). Packages that include first two League Cup games. Or one that retains your seat for all non league games. The latter would cost the Club the price of a "seat reserved" sticker. I'm sure there's loads of incentives that would effectively result in incremental income. That's just off the top of my head but I'm sure turning anything above into practice wouldn't be too difficult.

Although, there was some notice prior to the Raith Rovers game about the seats being reserved. Of course that only makes sense if the ST holder buys a a ticket for these kinds of games. fifexile
With the number of games not included in a season ticket I'd like to see the option to buy other games at a discount from the walk up price or discounts on merchandise (im sure in the days of season ticket books there were vouchers in the book) included in the price. As I struggle to go during the winter months due to health issues I'm beginning to struggle justifying paying for a season ticket when at best I'll make 8 of the18 league games Edited May 31 by fifexile
Fawlty Towers
Season tickets will be on sale from Friday with our new ticketing partner Fanbase: https://ptfc.co.uk/ptfc-news/partick-thistle-welcomes-fanbase-as-new-ticketing-partner/ Lets hope we sell plenty this year as, at this early stage and just my opinion, there is not going to be much between the 10 teams in the division and an additional bit of income here and there could be the differnce between a player who goes on to make a really important contribution and missing out - hence why Ayr are giving Celtic their home end for a friendly. Barney Rubble
Downloaded the Fanbase app, however contrary to the information below, there is no Partick Thistle option available as yet. 'Some of you may have already used the Fanbase platform over the last couple of seasons when visiting clubs such as Raith Rovers and Greenock Morton. If you have you can log into your account and follow Partick Thistle by clicking on the three bars at the top left of your screen to keep up to date with the latest news.' The way I read the article on the club website was that this would all be available as from Friday of this week. We shall wait and see! scotty
I'm wondering if details from the old system will be transferred across. If not how will it work with renewals? Will it be a case of applying to get a seat and fingers crossed no-one will have already taken it and will there be a discount for renewals (or premium for new applicants if you prefer)? There should be some comms on this, but I think the migration is currently happening. Part of the wait for STs was also to allow the Singing Section consultation, as the Singing Section would be marked up differently on Fanbase from the rest of the JLS if implemented. Here's hoping it all goes well. How often is some new app lauded only to find out on its launch it's not been tested and falls flat?

I am a little puzzled by the references in the consultation to people having "seats" in the JLS. I had always understood JLS to be a free and easy sit or (much more often) stand where you want set up where no one was too concerned about having a particular seat (obviously if you want to have a guaranteed seat or collection of neighbouring seats (for all home league games at least) there is the option to go for a JHS season ticket instead). I appreciate that JLS season tickets do have a particular seat number assigned (presumably to keep a track of the total numbers of seats/places allocated). However, I have no idea where mine is, and it would never occur to me to go and seek it out and evict some other person from it. That's just part of the JLS vibe/deal. If some people want to gravitate to certain parts of the JLS and stand and sing particularly loudly and enthusiastically there, that is absolutely fine by me. Again, if that means changing my nominal and unvisited JLS seat number, then no problem at all.
