Three points and a clean sheet but we could easily have drawn or lost that match. Our goalkeeper was by far the busier of the two.

Another poor performance overall, although we did put together a couple of good moves.

Graham's goal was onside, I was in line with it and didn't even cross my mind that he might be off when he scored. Linesman nowhere near a good poistion to make that decision.

If we are going to have any chance at all, we need to improve drastically. We have the players. I just can't see the manager making much of a difference over the coming months.

Thinking of pitching an idea for a game show where you fill in the blank in a sentence but to avoid it looking like a show that used to give a cheque book as a prize you have to choose from 3 options. For example:

Football is a BLANK business

(a) Results

(b) Performance

(c) Belgium

Chalmers took his goal well and it is great to see him coming on to a game. We are so much better balanced with Chalmers and Megwa combining on the right.

On the left Milne is currently creating more than Fitzpatrick. However, and I do not have sufficient football intelligence to comment with any authority, it may be the hard work Fitzy does and the runs he makes that is providing the space for Harry.

Referee had a generally poor game, but I will forgive him that for allowing our goal. So often when goalie and striker challenge together and the ball is spilled, a free kick is automatically awarded against the striker.

I have been critical of some of Robbie Crawford’s performances and have felt that often he makes little impact. Therefore it is only fair that I should say that he was excellent when he came on today, snapping into tackles and winning possession.

Huge appreciation for all who were involved in identifying Myles Roberts and signing him on loan. What a brilliant keeper he is!

“A win’s a win but that was sh*te” said a fan at the end. Think he was being a tad too negative, thought we played some decent stuff for maybe half the game and hopefully it builds confidence.
Thought Grahams goal was onside and the same linesman failed to flag for a corner minutes earlier when their keeper parried a shot, because he was so far behind the play.

Credit to Doolan for switching to a back 3 to suppress the early second half assault from QP which also allowed Megwa to push forward. But didn’t understand why Turner was subbed when he was finding space on the left following the change. As for Diack he again looked slow and almost disinterested and Paul McDonald wasn’t pleased.

Clearly still plenty to improve on middle to front but from a low bar there’s been incremental improvement over the last 3 games albeit very slowly. The defence continues to look strong as the stats show. Can’t fault the players for effort.

I think it was probably because Kyle was on a booking and had already committed another foul. With an erratic ref, he was walking a tightrope. Not sure he would have be withdrawn otherwise but Crawford was superb when he came on.

I thought it was odd that the linesman getting the flak was up the tunnel very smartly at the final whistle, not waiting for his colleagues as per the norm. Maybe some of his decisions were down to him having something else on his mind.

He was shite and was probably expecting a lynching 😉😆

Also McBeth was clearly on when he put the ball wide of the post. Yet same linesman flagged for offside.

Actually McBeth was offside. Possibly the only decision the linesman got right. Graham was clearly onside for the disallowed goal.
