Jimmy McD
This is the fourth game that I have listened to on Jagzone while on holiday this season, Clyde, Alloa, Morton, and now today, everyone a defeat , it sounds like a disaster .. At least I have got sunshine, and cheep beer..
Big Col
Going nowhere with Doolan. Should be sacked tonight.
Yellow & Redneck
Kris Foolan strikes again. Don't want to criticise too much or Levi might include me in his programme notes.

IMHO Lawless and Ablade on for Fitzpatrick and Robinson, with a threat of Diack on for Graham if he doesn't manage more shots in the first 15 minutes. I thought at half time he should have made three or four subs to make a clear statement that it wasn’t good enough. Any of them could have been hooked but all we got was McBeth for Sayers and the same old. The same 11 will probably start at Hamilton next Friday
ChiThistle
Really difficult watch. We might be able to scrape the final playoff spot, but we’d never do anything with it. IMO we need to start tinkering with lineups to see if we can generate any kind of offensive spark before the playoffs.
dl1971
Thankfully I'm on holiday and not having to witness it....tbh this heavy defeat has been coming. Difficult to see how doollan can change it. Looks end game I'm afraid.

We should probably try that. I was willing to give Doolan a chance, but things are getting worse. The payers we have are better than this. I don’t think Doolan is the man to fix this.

laukat
Doolan needs to go tonight. Today and Morton was way worse than the Cove anf Hamilton result that did for McCall Could easily have been 6 or 7 for Dunfermline today 1

javeajag
We really have to spend £300k we didn’t have to be this bad ….we could have lost today for a lot less.
JAGSMAN1968
Just back from that. Toothless, yet again. Do they actually practice free kicks, corners etc.? Fitzy on from the start , yet again - just why?? Midfield non-existent , tippy tappy sideways football when 1-3 down Season over??
JAGSMAN1968
Also, 4-1 down brings on 2 subs 83rd and 84th mins. Just why? Rant over. Can't wait for the Doolan platitudes. will they be new ones or same old same old?? Edited January 4 by JAGSMAN1968 .
JeanieD
Attendance 3,938 apparently- freezing day miserable conditions to get there but will there be a higher home attendance in the rest of the season? Given our plight the financial damage of such a result is almost the worst aspect of today.
Third Lanark
23 minutes ago, Flycatcher said: I don't think the funds are available to either sack him .... Or Bring in more/different coaches An excuse that doesn’t add up. Per league place position is enough to sack him funds wise. Lose 2 league places and we lose £150,000 more than double the 1 year salary to sack him. We have also had £500,000 investment- yes a lot of money on other things but there will be some there. Secondly off the top of my head when it is stated we couldn’t afford anyone else - Neil Lennon, Alex Neil, Ian Murray are not with clubs so if we opted for any of them then there would be no fee needed paid. I don’t think money is the issue with this - it’s the board and whether they will take action against someone who is a playing legend. Jordanhill Jag
If he is replaced - they will give it to Brian Graham - someone with No Management Experience - we have No Money We wont be signing anyone in January - but we will be offloading players to cut costs

Any of these Managers will want a Contract - we dont have the Cash to commit long term - so it will be Graham The £500K is to balance the Cash Reserves we spent after the first £500K We are in trouble - off the Park & on it Yes the Dools legend has an impact but the Board genuinely have No idea what to do next

As some point we will have to bite the bullet as I can’t see another club desperate to take him away. The sacking is inevitable one day.
milhouse
If we had won these most recent 2 games we would have been 4 points off top...instead it's season effectively over. I'm not sure it makes any sense for Doolan to leave this season - I don't think we will end up with any manager who will overcome a 10 point gap to win the league, it would be a financial risk with very little to be gained. But we could get a manager who could guide this squad to win the playoffs. That is the only hope. I don’t see Doolan doing that, so either write the season off now, or have a punt with someone else.
