westertonjagfan
Given the turn around in fortunes and the feel good factor, should we be approaching this one with thoughts about beating them?
jaggy
Yes, although they were very good last time at Firhill
jagfox
They were far better than us on their previous visit to Firhill this season. That turned out to be Archibald’s last game in charge? Up at Dingwall despite the score line there wasn’t as much of a gap between the sides in terms of performance. We lost the first goal at a bad time from the penalty spot. We then got hit on the break for County to clinch it. You could see what the manager was wanting the team to do but the players just weren’t quite good enough to carry out the game plan. Now going into this game we have every chance of keeping the three points at Firhill. It’ll certainly be a stern test but I can’t think of a stand out performer for the Stags that I’d love to have in a Thistle shirt. I can see the manager changing tactics again and hopefully we can get the first goal and go into victory again.
Dick Dastardly
You can tell that things are going well when the next match thread starts on the Sunday. In December you were lucky to see it before lunchtime on the Friday
eljaggo
Why on earth after our last 4 matches would you not "have thoughts about beating them"? Same team as yesterday. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Weebaw1
I don’t recall thinking that any of the teams in our league are any good, perhaps Ayr excepted. With the addition of some good experienced players and the upsurge in form of our best players we should not and will not give them any respect. javeajag
We should have a positive attitude unbeaten in our last seven and we are at home .... a win would confirm our turnaround

Not advocating any of them start but it’s another set of options

JeanieD
I fear Ross might be a bit too resilient but perhaps a reasonable guage of the scale of the apparent improvement in the performances of late.
elevenone
Positive mindset, they are not Barcelona. Worth noting they have had 3 away league games this year and lost at Morton and were hammered by QOS. Their victory was a late winner at Dunfermline so by no means should we fear them. Also they have a tough Scottish Cup replay midweek before they face us.
jaf
We have momentum. We should be looking to win this, against one of the better teams in the league. If we do, our season will truly have turned round. :-)

Weebaw1
Can’t believe that Draper thug/donkey has managed to last 120 minutes without a red card. He’s the Scott Brown of the Championship.
Semi Nurainen
They've had a tough encounter tonight, twice ahead then pulled back. Purely on stats, ICT look to have come out on top. Possibly one of those games on Saturday where the first goal might be the deciding factor. If we can continue our unbeaten run it would be great. Not betting on it, that's for sure! mad-jag
Best possible result tonight. Both teams will be tired after ET. County will be pretty despondent after losing on pens. If we are actually in with a shout of 4th place then hopefully Caley (and not us!) might take their eye off the ball in the playoff race. sandy
Fox couldn’t save any of those penalties tonight? Shame, eh...

He was heading away from goal. So jagfox's point about little between the teams that day is fair. County deserved to win but they were far from impressive, just we were so poor. HeWearsNumber9
The 120 minutes and pain of losing literally couldn’t have fallen better for us ,we don’t treat them with any respect or sit in ,we’re the form team at home. We should go right at them right from the start and press for a win and nothing less ,0 reason not too.
Garscube Road End
Surely our confidence is high and we feel able to take anyone at the moment. I would feel slightly disappointed if we don't win this one. On that I don't see any changes to side that played at Alloa.
Dick Dastardly
If Saunders is fit we return to a back 3 If Cardle is fit he starts. No idea who would be unlucky to get dropped. Harkens and Doolan ?
