jagfox
On the back of a good run of form and a great goalscoring performance we head down to play The Ton. They had a good win of their own up in Kirkcaldy. Their first in a while. Assuming the covers are down and the game goes ahead we will be looking for three away wins in a row. We've had some great wins there but a few bloody noses over the years. I feel we can get the win if we continue to get good performances from the majority of the team and more joined up play. C'mon the Jags!
elevenone
Heavy rain and sleet forecast so not ideal for behind goal at that midden, so bring umbrella’s and waterproofs as will be raining Imrie tears at FT as well. 1-0 Jags.

lady-isobel-barnett
Lately this away fixture often has a touch of controversy about it. Seen a couple of sending offs, plus two other games in particular produced 21 yellows. Given his dislike of them I strongly imagine Brian Graham will have the team well psyched up for this one. Not too concerned about our defence needing protection from midfield but our midfielders will need to battle to win balls to move forward. We probably don't want to change much in the way of personnel or formation but Cappielow is one of those grounds that you can understand a team going to three at the back. Maybe an option later on if we're protecting a lead? Hate missing games but if forecast is correct I'll reluctantly have to give this one a miss. I require a seat these days (at worse a crash barrier to lean on). Yon wee stand, where even Ryanair would be embarrassed at the lack of legroom, just ain't an option. Besides you're lucky to see 80% of the pitch in there. So that leaves sitting on yon benches in the rain/sleet for near two hours. They really know how to look after visiting fans down in Greenock.
Jimmy McD
Got to be the worst ground in the division, I don't think anymore that 2 quid has been spent on it over the years, 3 points please Jags...
JeanieD
Weather permitting we have a game tomorrow against our friends from Greenock - just to bump this above the ongoing saga

Made me laugh… and agree, end up needing to see a physio afterwards to straighten everything out again. Yon Wee Stand seems a better name for them to use or simply Ton Wee Stand. Miserable ground on a miserable day, would be happy with a point followed by a cup win at Hampden to round off a good November. Be ecstatic with 3 points. Jag
I said the other day, I believe that this match will show us how far we have come. Morton aren't great but Cappielow is a horrible ground to go to and they really don't like us - so they will be up for it. I think it will be tight and expect a good few bookings. Need 3 points here to keep the momentum going. Remember a brolly. Or a poly bag for a hat. Why do people never wear poly bag hats anymore? allyo
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/21468427 Remembering this. Weird to think that we came out having lost a two goal lead, and 8 points behind, yet still felt positive. There were circumstances.
elevenone
Just noticed Falkirk won at Queens Park last night so a win today would open up a 4 point gap on QP in 5th place.

Not ideal falling further behind Falkirk and potentially other top 4 challengers but it wouldn't be fun standing on the WDE today 😆

With conditions as they currently are, there'd be absolutely no chance of any decent football being played. Cappielow is possibly the last place you want to go on a day like today! dl1971
I don't think they wanted the game on. Why on earth would they not keep covers on until snow went off? That said horrible day to be out in the elements.
