Jaggernaut
That seems a bit unfair on the 24th season ticket holder.

Jimmy McD
I would have thought we would have taken more than 1300 to Tynecastle, hopefully more on the way if we take up this lot...............
Aliballibee
Couldn't see what's our actual allocation for the game? Likely to be a public sale (I live on the East Coast)?

I got on to the phone line, 8th in queue for 45 minutes only to end up on an answer machine haha
JeanieD
As The Fringe is on I might go through to Edinburgh but will probably have to skip the game - Peruvian Throat Singing, Interpretative Dance from the Dutch Antilles and a Recital of Pre-Christian Religious Poetry in Ancient Norse are top of my list. lady-isobel-barnett
Re anybody applying for tickets. Note you should be asked if you're wanting the "Singing Section" or the "Non Singing Section". I never asked but I assume you can still sing in the latter. jagfox
Club office shut at 4:30pm Doesn't give much scope for those at work, to get a ticket.
jaggy
It shut at 4 when I was first in the queue and transferred me to answerphone. I'd been trying since 12.30. Need to try again tomorrow at 10, but not sure if ST holders still get priority. Not very good service at all 🙄

Fearchar
Immediately hung up on - several times. It looked as if these two season ticket holders wouldn't get to go. ☹️ Then in position 8, then 6, then 5 in a queue. Maximum queue capacity 8? The connection was breaking up constantly. That's going through broadband, but with newly installed FTTP, which should provide clear VOIP. Changing to 5G didn't improve the connection, suggesting that the problem is at the other end, with the club. The waiting music is bad at the best of times, but dire when breaking up. Aliballibee
Called at 1pm and got straight through to ticket office. What tickled me was the "smart" feature on my mobile list the number as "Partick Dental Laboratory". I know watching Thistle is like pulling teeth sometimes but.....😀 Edited August 11, 2023 by Aliballibee

I am sure that the saying used to be every penny is a prisoner, but that's what inflation does for you.

a f kincaid
Funny you should say that M'lady. My old granny used to wrap some in tissue paper and put them in her clootie dumplings - then forget to tell us she'd done so.

Jaggernaut
Currently in pessimistic mode, and can only really foresee the historical trend continuing: a feeble performance by Thistle ending in a comfortable win for the tarts, if not a drubbing.
