I take it "verti-draining" is the technical name for what golfers call "tining".   I know golf clubs don't tine their greens principally for drainage reasons but from memory it certainly helps clear surface water. Here's hoping it does the trick.

But tine is always associated with fog. Could be another Raith Rovers no one can see a thing type game.

Basically it involves punching small circular holes in the pitch to allow it to drain more effectively.   Golf clubs regularly verti-drain their greens to aereate and de-compact the soil, and to promote better drainage. 

Is it more scientific than a mechanical pitchfork?

As bad a result was Kilmarnock getting a late winner.

Scotland lose the rugby, Killie win and we lose.

Most of my worst days as a Jags fan seem to involve Dundee Utd in some way.

Erase from memory and win this league.

I wonder who Rangers will get next, unless Annan do the unthinkable. Arbroath, Peterhead or Dundee?
