Fearties! Jags vs. Accies.

Looks like the same communication and slack passing issues that have plagued us all season.

Anyone know who’s subbed in doing analysis on Jagzone today?  Have enjoyed some of the tactical commentary.

Dan McKay. Could do with him back on the pitch

Absolute bottle merchants. There’s a serious lack of a winning mentality at the club.

Serious surgery required on the squad. Too many losers. The players that have come in for this season have generally been awful. And there are some who have been kept on past their sell by date.

The new sporting director and head coach have a hell of a job on their hands.

Abject performance. Two goals we lost were amateurish. As some around me said today we don't deserve to be in play offs.....

Looking at the respective end of season fixtures as regards Raith and ourselves - I would suggest we might need a minimum of 4 points to get beaten in the play-offs.

Can't honestly see where we get 4 points from Dunfermline away, Falkirk at home, and Livvy away

Raith have Falkirk away (perhaps fortunately for us) and then Morton at home and Queen's Park at Hampden

Then again you never know.....................................

We should all be thankful for the points that Doolan got us up to Christmas,  to get beat last week by the team at the bottom of the league, then today beaten by the team second bottom and who have we got next week the 3rd bottom team, can we make it 3 in a row.......

A wretched season. Knocked out of all 3 cups early doors mainly by lower league opponents, now looking like we’re throwing away the play offs. Squad isn’t good enough despite the money spent on it. Need a new manager with a fresh approach and some of the players under contract for next season need chased.

Absolutely awful. I know we lost a left back and had no replacement but surely it was a bad idea to split Ashcroft & O’Reilly, even worse put McBeth as left sided centre back.

Ref was clueless & was conned by Accies time wasting the whole game, but not an excuse for our poor performance.

Embarrassing all round display. Don't know what tatiçs graham was using seemed back to the bad days of tommy bryce.  ..                                                  graham either gets us forth place or he's gone

This season has been drudgery but today even my low expectations weren't met. Hamilton weren't very good but didn't have to be to win fairly comfortably - they buried two chances assisted by dopey defending. I can't say I have noted any particular improvement or much change since Graham & Wilson took over but more a continuation of the lack of cohesion by a team with some decent players. I'm not sure why the wingers were switched when Fitzpatrick was looking a threat - nothing came off for Chalmers today  but at least he didn't hide.

One of the features of last season were the invisible man performances of McInroy & Alston in the attacking midfield role - they have been replaced in this key role by Crawford who has no discernible skill set - a player who doesn't show for the ball and doesn't do anything on the few occasions he comes into contact with it - an utterly abject "pass" out for a goql-kick a low spot in a poor day. Lawless showed what can be done in linking up play in that role.

We don't really deserve to be in the play-off and can't see us making progress if we hold on to fourth. Feel a bit sorry for Graham but his audition isn't going well - Barraclough has a tough task ahead.

Re McInroy and Alston , there was always a threat that they could score a goal for you , now absolutely nothing .

I think like you 4th place has gone and if we lose next week to Dunfermline then I will be certain it's gone. I can't see Raith losing to Morton at home or Queens Park away. That will give them 52 points. Also I don't think we can count on a Falkirk win v Raith next week. I might be wrong but have the feeling Raith have done well against Falkirk.

If by some miracle we avoid 4 successive defeats by beating Dunfermline that will give us 51 points. The other point (or points ) will have to come from our home game with Falkirk. Can anyone see us achieving that.

I have said somewhere recently on this site that (acknowledging the lower prize money) we might in the medium to long term be better off missing the play-off games,  put this season to bed and focus on getting  organised for next season. By this I mean appointing a new manager and, as far as finances allow, building a new squad. I don't see how we can go into next season with the current squad.

Ps: I will be purchasing a season ticket.
